liverpool top 4 is a total fluke. kudos to them considering the mid table players that they have apart from suarez. well back to europa league again once suarez is gone  brows.gif

Well SAS partnership are ripping defense apart like knife through butter. The Premier League table doesn't lie. They suddenly emerge as one of the contender for title.
If they improve their defense next summer window, they will go even further than this season.

Seems very likely Arsenal will announce the player after the end of the season maybe.

He is very young as well, so it's probably true lol. Still need a world class striker though.

No need to hate la. Even with their mid table players they are on top at the moment. And they thrashed us. What do you want to say about that? Accident? Ok.
*
I will reserve my comments on Liverpool till I've seen them in action in a whole full season. They have always suffered with fixture congestion. I said at the start of the year they are the dark horses already since they have so few games to play. Less chance for injury + squad is fresh week in week out.

That is why we need Man Utd to at least get a Europa Cup spot next year. Support Moyes for 6th at least!

At least he can run fast and knows how to score goals. Yesterday the fastest Giroud run is when he subbed out to the bench.
*
Yes he is fast. Pundits in Germany are saying his acceleration and change of pace over the first few yards is his greatest asset.

Kinda reminds me of Titi. Quick but not the quickest footballer you will ever see however that change of pace from slow to fast so often gives him a sizeable head start that once he is past you you can never catch him over 100 - 150 yards.

Sky Germany is reporting we have signed Nuremberg's striker, Josip Drmic

the music in these videos are god awful and couldn't help but to mute it. anyways, this guy looks promising but on top of that wenger needs to buy a finished product. One world class striker, gundogan/bender and a world class left back, since gibbs is so injury prone and monreal's form is so erratic.

yup, i don't know why everyone says MU is out of title race, let alone CL qualification. maybe starting this week, MU win all remaining matches, and other club lose all?? don't count that out, anything can happen biggrin.gif

Can TV5 play alongside flamini as defensive midfielder?

Just my opinion but some of his passes are quite good.

As for his speed i think he edges arteta... although arteta was an AM before.

Comments?

Just buy a new DM and let them play their respective position.
Yes for emergency cases like the FA cup match maybe can put TV5 there as Flamini is out due to too much yellow cards.
Arsenal definitely need to spend big, 3-5 players to have depth in the squad to cover injuries.

Arsenal attack is too slow

I am not impressed with yesterday's Arsenal performances. It was too predictable & lack of shot on targets.

Against lesser teams n as emergency DM, yes. For a regular DM, is a big no.
His speed better than Flamini n Arteta, his passing is so-so, neither terrible nor excellent. But he tend to leave his position just to aid team's attacking leaving big hole for opponent to exploit on fast counter when we loose the ball. Its just reminiscent of Song. Against big team, when both team have little difference in technical quality or better, we gonna be punish.

Yes I agree sometimes our gameplay is too slow and so predictable (including yesterday's 1st half).
Lack of direct runner (aka Theo), player that make a run from behind (Ramsey) and a pacey striker are the main reason to that problem.
You also need to consider that we are without 3 of our first choice offensive players for quite some time now, which I think would completely change the game had they all play.

And if everyone is fit (which never happens unfortunately), I think our squad can match other top teams in the BPL.
Add 1 super striker and a true defensive midfielder, and we are ready to be a real challenger in the UCL.

It's just weird that Wenger didn't invest in those pacey players since Invisible era. This pacey thing is what Wenger famous for back in the 90's and early 2000. Now most of top teams have this kind of players.
The likes of Ljungberg, Reyes, Henry, Overmars and Wiltord are non existent except Walcott.
Current crop of players more to orchestra player, like to pass rather than run behind defender.

Yeah. Giroud needs someone to run behind the defense to play his game. Why Wenger refuses to play Gnabry currently?
