QUOTE(nickerlas @ Aug 22 2016, 01:45 AM) that is just insane. Shows that for all the wild tech in the world with the claim of trying to save the environment and all that, old little car like kelisa with no eev or whatever rating takes the cake. Sometimes.. You need to see the circumstances too.. 25km/l could be an ideal situation.. EEV is what the latest technology can do for FC, it wont really work if your situation is less than ideal.. Just live with what you are dealt with..

QUOTE(nickerlas @ Aug 22 2016, 01:45 AM) that is just insane. Shows that for all the wild tech in the world with the claim of trying to save the environment and all that, old little car like kelisa with no eev or whatever rating takes the cake. Well there are drawbacks la. If I crash the Kelisa very likely will die or serious injury. That crane which fell on that lady's Kelisa, the damage certainly dun make me feel good. Other car she might have survived. Looking at other Kelisa accident pics, the A pillar and roof definitely made of paper. Good FC is a plus, but I rather take the safety offered by modern cars. Also no AC makes the biggest difference. Not really practical for most people. I drive early morning and night so can survive, but running AC reduces it to like 450+ km per tank. Power steering I just removed the belt. To me it barely makes a difference except when parking. Prefer the more direct feel.

A 1 ton plus object drop from 20 storeys? Even if you are driving a tank may not survive.

I did around 5.4, 5.5l per 100 km when driving in Spain, France and Switzerland. In Spain and most of France aircon on, no highway. I do accelerate quite hard, though I rarely rev high. Through the Alps around 6.4, 6.5 maybe. Lots of uphill stuff, lots of corners... I'm driving a VW Golf Mk 7, 1.4 TSI with 140 hp and 6 speed manual. As soon as I reached Germany the FC jumped up though Damn highways.
