I still prefer to old school way, fill up to max, drive till low and do manual calculations....

For Toyota, this is quite bad, considering a B-segment car.....

With your speed, you should be getting about 14-15km/l... But then proper care you need to take :
1. pour fuel injection cleaner every 2000km(3M will be good for this, should be rm18-25 on spare parts shop)
2. make sure you service the car regularly(like every 5000km for semi-syn)
3. try all the brands and decide which gives you the best mileage
4. control your right leg, that's the best way. Like don't simply rev when the traffic light turns green
