Hi, I'm from School of Business, first year semester two. I want to ask, i enrolled Financal Managament and Money & Capital Markets. I heard the lecturer said that financial management is a second year subject, if i didnt hear it wrongly. Should i re-enrol my subject or this js just fine?
*
it's fine as long as your accounting isn't too bad. The requirement for tat unit is ACW1000. I have friends doing tat unit too, 1st year 2nd sem as well. Good luck

Hey Ryan, great to know that u graduated from Caulfield campus. May I know how long does it take Monash to assess a course application? How long will it normally take to receive a phone interview and offer letter? My application status is now "being assessed" for almost a month.

So it took you only two weeks to receive an offer? That's quick! Did you send your application through Monash Online Application or agent? Does MRS have accommodation for students who wish to bring their partner along (long term throughout the study, not temporary stay)?

1) May I know if one transfers from Monash Sunway to Monash Australia for only the final year, will he/she graduate with degree from Sunway or Monash campus???

2) What about the course fee for final year in Australia? Follow sunway campus fee or pay australian fees?

3) When to start applying?

1) if u r talking about the granting campus then it depends on course, case to case basis... if you're talking about place of graduation... then msia or aus is possible

2) as though you're transferring, aus campus fees

3) asap

by the way,
if you are planning to take business degree, the faculty will advise you to transfer after 1 year or at most 1.5 years.
While transfer only at final year is still possible, but you might have to redo some units... since according to them, Australian units are more difficult. rclxub.gif

not that it is more difficult.. the degree offered in msia vs aus is diff... therefore to qualify for the aussie one you got to take certain modules that isnt avail in msia... if you had taken all common modules and transfer then it is not a prob..

there's no baseline.. so how hard is very subjective... if you compare with other schools in msia, it is generally harder

Yes, you're right, there's no baseline, well in that case, how competitive is the Computer Science major? How is the failure rate?

much harder than other schools and drop out rate also pretty high.. but bear in mind that the students enrolling for these course have lower req. as compared to lets say eng. or med.
