i always recommend ppl to go monash as it is a prestigious school.. however we have to face reality, whether you're able to make that tuition fees back.. in the long term it is definitely worth it.. you will be part of an elite group of ppl in msia but if you have to take a loan or it is a huge burden for your parents then better not

4 of my family members including me grad from monash msia.. i am in sg, my sis is in sydney and 2 cousins are doing extremely well as their own bosses.. non from food sc though.. my dad did food tech like 30 years ago? that time not many highly qualified ppl so he did well in mnc... these days i dont know

for engineering or business or med or pharma it is not a prob... those fields pays well in msia... food sc? i dont think so... what's your results anyway? i might be able to recommend another option..

Why we study so hard to meet computer science requirement then?

This diploma thing is more like a slightly lighter version of the major, where in the first year, each semester you take same 3 IT units as degree students + 1 year-long general studies unit (ATS I think). Then once you passed all your units in first year, you then proceed to year 2 degree as usual.

It is not really that easier as those are still the same degree level units, plus for certain core units you would have to take later compared to other students (e.g you would miss out FIT1008 Intro to CS for 1st year), and if you fail certain core, to proceed to degree, you have to retake that core before you could proceed to year 2.

for transfer from monash sunway? http://www.buseco.monash.edu.au/esg/agu/po...-transfers.html
clayton require 70% average,caulfield 65% average

clayton is further away from city(1hr) vs caulfield (30min)
however a lot of people studying in caulfield stay in clayton as the rental is cheaper

Ryan,
Meaning we can transfer to Clayton from MM if we meet the 70% average weighted point ? Thanks.
