QUOTE(showcase @ Jun 9 2014, 03:33 PM) company name: This is the worst Chinaman Co. Thanks for sharing.s0£idgr0 3n3rgy / g30premium / c0l0r 0c3an 3n3rgy ltd issue faced during my tenure with this company: - AL application. Face black2 when apply for AL (be it long or short). Always ask employee clear 50% of AL by mid-year, but always reject AL application, & at year-end AL burnt - Working hour 8.30am - 5.30pm. Punch card after 8.40am deduct RM5, after 9.40am RM10, after 10.40am deduct half day AL (I was late only once during my 1 year tenure due to car tyre punctured, reached office 8.41am. They did not accept my explanation and deducted RM5) - Lack of sympathy. A colleague was robbed & suffered broken bones on 2 fingers. Hence, doctor gave 2 weeks MC. Reaction from management when she called in for MC "Only 2 of your finger is broken, other parts still functioning. Why MC for 2 weeks?" and even threaten to issue warning letter. - Favoritism. Boss's niece was allowed to punch in/out as she desires, but other employee/non-relative will be scrutinized on punctuality. - Policies change as and when desired. Personnel, positions & policies were amended/created over-night to adhere to bidding requirement. - When employee resigns, try to deduct as much as possible (eg. medical check-up, training). Until employee have to argue and show offer letter that this was not stated, then only management take away the deduction. These are few happened during my 1 year tenure. so, beware if you are invited for interview/hiring by this company. who knows, you migh b the management's favorite new-hire & won't face all these issues. |

QUOTE(badkid @ Aug 17 2016, 10:37 PM) I do think that it is people management who makes a brings the chinaman characteristic to a company. Working in a MNC doent mean that it is not mindseted in a chinaman fashion. You can get same international company name, one office is NY and one in MY. Same brand name, but workers in Malaysia highly unsatisfied because the people running it / heading the office here has chinaman mindset. This comment win.But honest to say, I'd rather work in a high paying chinaman mindset-ed company than working in a low paying chinaman ones. At least the difference in amount is my 'shut-up fee' or 'elaun kesusahan'.. LOL |

Chinaman mentality style dominating most of the companies in Malaysia, be it MNC and GLC. True story.
Malay. Cina. India. Iban. Murut. Kadazan. Melanau. All the same. Once they implement these kind of Chinaman mentality management, all hell break loose. True story. |
