Lately, had an eye opener of how chinaman company runs a F&B outlet. few branches established in couple of years.
Staffs looks like underpaid but one thing amazed me, their brainwashing of staffs to be dedicated in the work cannot be taken lightly. It's like children going to public school by bus , wakes up at 5.30 and reach school at 6.30 everyday. It's quite known to us that chinese students were drilled since their school days to work hard and nothing will breaks this. It's a regiment or military standards in the chinese world.
The colleague im having, they have worked for 2-4 years now. 6 days work. full day ok.. No one can take off day on sat and sun. it's a peak day.
Few nepalese working there too. one of them told me he is getting tired now.
There's no chair in the workplace to seat and we kept walking up and down serving customers everyday. I worked at 7am till 4pm.
What couldn't break them, i wonder?
How i know the staffs not getting as much as i am, my manager told me this not to reveal my pay to anybody as i get more than them.
What a pity that these fellas were actually trained their guns to commit to such laborous work daily and couldn't break out from their circles of believing that there's actually sunlight or greener grounds elsewhere. Im not sure if these fear factor causes them to anchored to the company and afraid to move out or im getting the same treatment now when manager implant " YOur salary is better than them" , he probably said to anybody who joined them to.
That's probably how the Game starts manually. haha.
what do you guys think ? I think the company knows how to play the game well to secure long serving staff just like japs did , but what is the secret to all this thing? Im sure there's also staff turnover but many of those that hold backs and stay loyal to the company is hard to come by these days with low pay and no life.
A few factors. In comfort zone and afraid if they move somewhere else the situation will be worst. No ambition so the job is fine for them. Or just plain job security.Staffs looks like underpaid but one thing amazed me, their brainwashing of staffs to be dedicated in the work cannot be taken lightly.
