Hi All, im actively using Cash Back card but my 3rd anniversary is coming and i understand that many dint get waiver for annual fee and gst after 2 years.

Any particular way that can get me the GST? basically this is my main card, so if i dont want to pay for annual fee, should i cancel it before the anniversary?what other card that you can recommend, mainly use for petrol?

my secondary card is hsbc signature but rarely use because it seems to dont have any benefit..
*
I have Succeeded to Waive Off the Annual Fee of My CT Cash Platinum for the 2nd Year (but Need to Pay GST), Even though just Utilized About RM1000++ a Year With a Call to CS Request AF Waiver from Them... whistling.gif

the Credit Card Which're Good for Petrol (Cash Rebate):
I) Hong Leong Bank Wise- Need Min. RM50 spending per Transaction to Enjoy 10% Cash Rebate & Cash Back Capped at $100 /Month
II) UOB One Card- 5% Cash Back on Petrol [capped at RM500 (Max CB $25) for UOB ONE Platinum card & RM300 (Max CB $25) for UOB ONE Classic card per month.]
III) Maybank 2Cards (Amex)- 5% Cash Rebate On Weekends Spend (Max CB $50) per Month
IV) Citibank Cash Back Platinum- 5% Cash Back on Petrol [capped at RM600 (Max CB $30) per Month]

FYI, Most of the Point Basis-ed Credit Card Won't Giving You Any Rewards Point on Petrol... sweat.gif

This means cash back of only max RM30 per month ? What does the front RM600 stand for ?
*
RM 600 (Total Capped on Petrol Spend / Month) x 5%Cash Rebate = Max CB RM30

Even i request for flexi payment also they don't give. According to them they don't have any promotion so they will not give any plan for that. LOL~~~
*
WHY like that, I was Told We can Convert our Purchase to Flexi-Plan Anytime we want with Just Call to CS before You CC Due Date.. hmm.gif As I Also have Convert My Purchase to 12 Months Flexi-Plan (Now Balances with 3 More to Go)

Actually, What's Your Purchase (the Thing) that You want to Convert Flexi-Payment Plan...??? blink.gif

i think you are confused between 0% easy payment plan (EPP)  and the normal installment payment plan (IPP). 0% EPP is only available on selected merchants and you have to be sure they offer this. For example, like ikea and maxis.
Yup, you are right. otherwise how do banks make money if everyone offers 0% unless merchant absorbs the cost.

Actually, I Know What's the Difference between 2 of Them as I Just Give an Example to koh_424... nod.gif

Thanks for the example.

Last time i did call in to request with the easy payment. But do not know why recently they don't allow to convert the amount to easy payment.

Just curious.

QUOTE(Average-Joe @ Apr 10 2014, 10:54 PM)
Hi all,

I was informed that my application for Citibank PremierMiles VISA Signature was rejected today. mad.gif

I am very aware of the requirement of minimum annual income of RM60K for PremierMiles VISA Signature. If based on my 2013 (monthly salary <RM5K), my annual income (including bonus) is still more than RM60K.

My current salary (2014) is >RM5K
Car loan paid off in 2011.
Another bank - Home flexi loan RM600K+ approved in June 2014
Another bank - Platinum card holder since Oct 2014 (credit card statement always cleared in full before due date)

I submitted the following documents:-

( a ) Dec 2013 - March 2014 salary slips
( b ) Increment letter January 2014
( c ) EPF statements printed out from Citibank's EPF Kiosk

The sales person told me that he/she does not know the reason why my application is being rejected but he/she will appeal for me. I asked, if you don't know the reason, on what basis do you appeal? doh.gif

I even dropped by Bank Negara Malaysia to check on my CCRIS and conduct a CTOS self check report today. No issue at all. thumbup.gif

Anyone can shed some light on my situation? How can I find out the real reason? icon_question.gif

Many thanks. sweat.gif
