anyone decided to try wp 10?

Didn't the Windows Phone Recovery Tool revert your phone back to Cyan? If not, try using the Lumia Software Recovery Tool to hard reset. It should revert your phone back to Cyan. Or do you mean revert to Black?

I tried by upgrading from the WP 8.1 GDDR 2 and I can't use the call function because during the SIM Pin, I can type in the pin but it just hang and have to soft reset after I press enter.

Other functions are ok but it is sluggish compared to WP 8.1. The screen fonts turned smaller made it harder to read. Not recommended to upgrade to WP 10 with your daily phone now as its still very early stage. Preview for Developers is still ok as its a "BETA". WP 10 is like the "ALPHA" stage of development.

I switched back to WP 8.1 for stability, some of my important whatsapp conversation reset. Not worth the trouble unless you want to help to develop the OS and not using it as your main phone.

Lumia 920 front camera problem

Anyone having front camera problem? Mine will stuck once tap on the front facing function. Lumia Panorama not functioning, Lumia refocus also having problems.

try perform soft reset and see the issue still there or not?

usually to troubleshoot whether it's hardware issue or OS issue

1. soft reset
2. format aka hard reset

if 1 + 2 sstill not working = hardware issue

I guess not. To remove housing is the first step, to replace the touch screen is the last step. Wish me luck haha. Just bought the replacement parts. NCC quote me 600++. Crazy

Hopefully it works, Im worried the touch screen wont work with OS after Amber. Apparently the updates after Amber disabled the touch screen if it isn't an original one.

Exactly! My phone still respond to touches perfectly but the crack one the screen is too much of an eyesore. 60% cracked.

Yeah watched that just yesterday. Hopefully it is as easy as he did it. I bought the pre cut adhesive sticker glue too. Worry that the double sided tape might not be as good.
