Your GPU load does not drop. Are you running folding@home or something?

Prrobably afterburner gone wonky, try use gpu-z and see. I have the same model as yours and use afterburner to oc, no problem so far.

And make sure to set your power usage in nvidia control panel to adaptive instead of high performance.

i notice that it overclock itself, i didnt touch anything from the afterburner. how do i fix this?

nope

The higher clock speed that you see in your GPU-Z is due to your graphic card's passive feature, GPU Boost. Typically, Kepler/Maxwell based cards will have this feature, where the GPU will try to boost to a higher clock speed within the pre-determined temperature target, which is 80C by default. I am not sure though, how come your usage remains at 90% even after you have long quitted the game.

im also having issues with the latest driver where the fan didnt increase speed when usage on 90%

haha i be sticking with 770 in 4 another year then still waiting 4 the single card 2 able run at 60fps maxxed up in 1440p
