Yes. Even though it is just an entry level, but sufficient enough for people with low budget like me. I'm waiting AMD answer for this GPU. Will consider either GTX 750 Ti or R7 260X / 265X next for my brother's PC depend on the price performance ratio.

I suggest go with the R9-270 without the x as the price increase is a just bit more than the gtx 660 and the r7-265 , performance wise this card beats both of them biggrin.gif

You're right. Basically, this is my list of usually recommend graphic cards from RM500 - RM800 range. biggrin.gif

~ RM540 - GTX 750 Ti (Palit StormX OC)
~ RM580 - R7 265 (Sapphire Dual-X)
~ RM700 - R9 270 (Asus DCUII OC) --> roughly 5% faster than HD 7870
~ RM760 - R9 270X (Sapphire Dual-X OC)
~ RM 800 - GTX 760 (Zotac/Leadtek reference)

WHQL - official driver
beta - half past 6 driver and full of unpolished bugs
remove old drivers then install new drivers

Just tick the clean install will do. If anything happen can do extra clean reinstall.

WHQL - Windows Hardware Quality Labs testing. In a nutshell, it's the "official" signed driver, having been tested rigorously by Microsoft and is certified as safe to use a Windows based platform.

Actually for Nvidia drivers, you don't have to uninstall the old one. You can do what rc2x mentioned above and just tick "clean install" and install the latest version over the old one.

Tempting, for budget card I think i'll go for the AMD next time.

I'm satisfied with my GTX 750 Ti as I am just a casual gamer, but my brother maybe need a little bit of juice for his gaming needs.

.net4 is needed for Geforce Experience, you don't need to install it if you don't want GE.

You can't open Geforce Experience without .net4 install in your system.

i'm quite tight on money right now but i do want to upgrade my 9500gt. I looking for a cheap, entry level dx11 card,is WinFast GT 630 2gb d3 128bit okay?

How much is your budget? Nvidia typically don't have very strong cards in the lower price range. You might need to go with AMD. R7 250 is a good choice, around RM300.
