Not surprisingly.

QUOTE
The rumor is coming from Taiwanese contacts claiming that TSMC, the foundry that produces chips for Nvidia, is not prepared for a full-on 20nm chip production run.
.

28nm -> 20nm is a bit of a leap and to have that commendable 'sales' figure of 20nm 800 Series is going to be extremely challenging as it seems.

A release year to 2015 is much more sensible instead of saying late 2014.

Expect more Maxwell 28nm releases this year.

Mostly advertisement or ROI only. Never see anyone have stock otherwise I'd be asking them for one already.

I'm flip-flopping between this and 295X2. Undecided. I have them monitored on FB anyway, so once signs of stock coming in, I'll make a decision.

Pretty sure this card will be hottest traded card in garage if there were any. But most likely buyer can game on it for quite some time till dx12 is launched.

690 is running in sli and has 2gb of mem.

so when games that doesnt support sli ( like company of heroes) or eventhough its preforming faster than 780/780ti/titan/titan z ,,,when enable MSAA , it wont have enough frame buffer and it will be chocked.

and its basically a under-clocked 680 sli. a 770 4gb sli will trump it easily.

it was the card to get when 680 was the reigning king with 7970.
now its not. its 780ti and black. so titan Z would be the option for single slot sli config.

so ask ure self first. what reso ure gaming at.

ill suggest either a 780 Ti or 290X

for that reso, its more than sufficient

if wanna go longer and more oomph, get SLi or CFx of the above mentioned cards

wta, any1 using Zotac 780 ti AMP? and is it worth to go 780TI instead of 780? seems like the performance gains =/= additional price.

or Zotac 780 TI instead of AMP version. DCU2 and others is out of reach atm.
awaiting news for watchdog bundle as well smile.gif

btw, i read most review state the gpu boost will de-clock the card once the temp reach 80C. is it true? and can we deactivate this fail-safe feature?

Max 95c or tdp 105 normal bios. U will always hit tdp. So mod bios to get max stable boost.
780ti reference no more

Its like this gtx780 has 2304 core, gtx780ti has 2880..... Thats a lot of difference. 780ti's N b2 revision of 110 can clock higher n is cooler.

780ti is the fastest single gpu card there is atm

either flash to a different BIOS or try work your way around the current TDP

at most, Nvidia TDP is locked at 95C even with the power limiter set to maximum
