QUOTE(ivanfwc @ Apr 10 2014, 06:04 PM) another here but with german language Reduction in number of Mem controllers, Cheaper and lesser load on the overall GPU chip. Should overclock like crazy i guess. http://www.pcgameshardware.de/Nvidia-Gefor...ll-GPU-1116952/ [attachmentid=3924948] This is where i think it will beat the 780ti. But in the past always a issue on high texture load when it comes to lesser bandwidth. For instance Gtx660ti vs 670. This post has been edited by cstkl1: Apr 12 2014, 09:38 PM |

QUOTE(patrick23 @ Apr 25 2014, 10:22 PM) 690 is running in sli and has 2gb of mem.so when games that doesnt support sli ( like company of heroes) or eventhough its preforming faster than 780/780ti/titan/titan z ,,,when enable MSAA , it wont have enough frame buffer and it will be chocked. and its basically a under-clocked 680 sli. a 770 4gb sli will trump it easily. it was the card to get when 680 was the reigning king with 7970. now its not. its 780ti and black. so titan Z would be the option for single slot sli config. so ask ure self first. what reso ure gaming at. QUOTE(sai86 @ Apr 26 2014, 04:03 PM) wta, any1 using Zotac 780 ti AMP? Max 95c or tdp 105 normal bios. U will always hit tdp. So mod bios to get max stable boost.or Zotac 780 TI instead of AMP version. DCU2 and others is out of reach atm. awaiting news for watchdog bundle as well btw, i read most review state the gpu boost will de-clock the card once the temp reach 80C. is it true? and can we deactivate this fail-safe feature? 780ti reference no more Its like this gtx780 has 2304 core, gtx780ti has 2880..... Thats a lot of difference. 780ti's N b2 revision of 110 can clock higher n is cooler. 780ti is the fastest single gpu card there is atm This post has been edited by cstkl1: Apr 26 2014, 08:08 PM |

One will run at the lower speed of cpu/mem.Btw advice u to put the DCII on top. Since back of the card has shielding. |

QUOTE(mikomilo @ Apr 28 2014, 08:17 AM) sentinel92..i did test it for gaming..ultra high..battlefield 4..siege of shanghai..it was ok.. nvidia follows very strictly to PCIE-SIGis there anything relate to mobo? maybe power distribution problem from the mobo itself?? if u must know a 8pin/6pin can consume around 320watts. but hmm think it was just a faulty PSU. btw i just suspect rail distribution issue. QUOTE(mikomilo @ Apr 28 2014, 08:39 AM) sorry meant 6pin/8pin theoretical max is 320watts each..Rails 12v. Look at the PSU and amps. Nvidia follows 250watts TDP as per pcie-sig rules so one 6pin and 8pin. for reference card. Again this is for the high end cards so 250 so .. 20amps on the rail for the card is enough. but ure running a ax760i right .. so should be no issue. dont sweat it. but i would test ure cards the load on the 12v rail. Normally mobo will have sensors run hwinfo, log it. Game on or stress ure gv with heaven 4.0, metro, crysis etc then see the log if it flux a lot or not. corsairs ax series will hardly move normally. |

titan z clocks better be 780ti clocks. I am guessing some heavy binning will be done here. |

Brief Performance Numbers on the GK110B chip on Titan Black. GPU Scores only
3dmark 11 Performance / Extreme - 17721 / 5717 3dmark 13 Cloud/Fire Strike / Fire Strike Extreme - 83521/ 13074 / 6013 Heaven 4.0 1080p Maxed out - 70.1fps - Score 1776 » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Really my moneys worth with the card at this speeds. Btw stock cooler in our country seriously cannot handle 1.2v. Tested time and time again it has enough power to dissipate up 1.125v with the Power Target at 330watts (mod from stock max 265watts) This post has been edited by cstkl1: Apr 29 2014, 03:00 AM |

QUOTE(Sentinel92 @ Apr 29 2014, 03:23 AM) Nice results! Guess the Titan Black was a really good deal for you. To tell the truth honestly i was fine with 780ti but i wanted the reference cooler. But in our climate I wouldn't expect much from stock air cooling either. MY no more. Amazon is EVGA and bringing it over is about 2.6k. RMA cost factor since is superclock and also evga reference card they change the fins to like grey type etc.. so was not to pleased. Also has some coil whine issue 50:50. Non ref.. might as well go for the best was Matrix 780ti RM3.1k and Kingpin Classified RM3.2k shipped. So thought about it just go for titan black. Running on air so really want blower type. Non reference OC type in the past experience always like had high RMA ..new Dud rate. Mainly because of the mem or faulty VRM.
