4k seems or slighly higher because they did downsampling of a 1200p at 3840x2400p.. 6gb of mem on a titan totally makan on wolfy..

I game at 1440p only, 4K gaming is waste $$$ imo After seeing those benchmark of Unseen 4K samsung

Don't think 4k is a waste if you have the right rig to power it up. Unseen juz don't have enough juice to play at 60fps.
I don't see stinger complain his 4k and his screenshot of 4k gaming is always

err generally even quad sli is hard pushed for 4k without some sacrifices in settings
perfect is quad sli titan blacks at all running at 1250mhz. I wouldnt even try for now. wait for gpu to catchup

ppl like stringfellow. well he atleast went igzo. thats worth it. and he wced his setup and most probably clocked it for 4k.

cheap stuff like tn .. wouldnt bother.

same arguement of plastic gun vs nickel plated gun. which will u take to a gun fight??

till then as linus said .. for now "4k is dead to me".. going for 3440x1440. next up will be 5040x2160 when atleast 2 gpu can power it to 60fps..

again.. cost of 4k gaming is hard.. stock wouldnt do.

Enabled 16x MSAA
Vt Disabled to get uncompressed graphics.. hit like 4gb.
whenever u look at far scenes.. the developers didnt bother to do any detail on it...

Eventhough the game is capped at 60fps u need to enable Vsync. Terrible tearing when running.

2560x1080 All Maxed out VT disabled 16xMSAA



Did some downscaling at 3840x1620 .. looks better fps took a hit
Had to save in JPEG but max quality



So moral of the story MSAA 16, 4k should look and feel much better on this game and actually make it more worth it compare to console ports.

hmm actually now i find the game not bad in downsampling 16xMSAA@ 3840x1620 VT Disabled Max Setting.

the graphics is seriously not that great, for a 2014 game

Bad graphic for AMD user, and nvidia usually they will resolve the issue asap.
The Developer prob using the ID Tech 5 engine to test in the market before they launch doom in the near future

Add it cost of shipping for few units, retail markup etc.. 3k. or close to it. Consumer pay lor.
