Hey guys, the MSI has released another version of 970, the GTX 970 4GD5T. It uses 6 pin x2 instead of the 8 pin + 6 pin.  Also, according to Amazon, the card is cheaper than GTX 970 GAMING 4G.

So it is actually a reference card with an aftermarket cooler on it. Great

Zotac 970 -  $329.99 = rm1199
Zotac 970 amp omega $379.99 = rm1349
Zotac 970 amp extreme $409.99 = rm1499

my guess is we are probably expecting rm1349 ~ rm1449 for the new MSI GTX-970-4GD5T-OC here which is 339.99 usd.

im gonna throw myself at the wall if that happens 
surprisingly asus and giga quite cheap this time.

That's just my speculation and I base it on the fact at how MSI does their "Gaming" motherboards. Gaming 7 has LEDs, Gaming 5 doesn't.

"LITE" definitely sounds like they're just going to give you a near barebones 970 with a TF5 cooler and PCB, that's what "LITE" would mean. But if MSI has a different definition of "LITE" in their dictionary, yeah please surprise us MSI.

Looks like gigabyte win the aftermarket coolers war this time. Lower noise lower temp lower prices higher clocks compared to msi/asus/palit

few days back, amd also announce o re-launch Radeon R9 290X graphics cards with 8GB of onboard GDDR5 memory in early November.

we are the one who benefits its all...muahaha!.

if devs released uncompressed textures for fun like Shadow Of Mordor.. then 4GB isnt enough

but that doesnt mean good too, means devs is crap at compressing the textures to acceptable levels

HiHi, im still in dilemma on choosing GPU, either 980 or 970 (both 4GB for time being), different around plus minus 10fps or maybe 20% in performance, but in term of money different around RM800. Any opinion guys?

Sell off your gtx760 , get a gtx970 straight away if you have enough of budget after selling off your gtx760 , gtx970 delivery slightly lower performance than gtx780 and it is the best choice of budget , for me i prefer Windforce gigabyte edition , 3fans and silence, blue lightning  LED with the word Windforce .
