Actually if u look closely, the ASB2 scheme is to "help" those who already max their ASB. Others reason is just BS only

ASB fund size no limit, individual got 200k cap for initial investment (ex-divvy).

New fund depend on PNB & also Jibby. If he wants new fund, then we'll get one

Golongan minoriti adalah satu golongan yang telah mendapat kebenaran khas dari Perdana Menteri untuk melabur dalam semua unit amanah yang diuruskan oleh ASNB iaitu:

    Siam
    Portugis / Eurasian / Serani
    Mualaf / Beragama Islam tetapi bukan Bumiputera

Nota : Golongan ini mendapat kebenaran melabur dalam semua skim ASNB kecuali bagi skim yang mempunyai pecahan Bumiputera dan bukan Bumiputera (skim ASW 2020) ianya dikategorikan sebagai Bukan Bumiputera.

Unit Amanah ASNB boleh dilanggan oleh semua warganegara Malaysia namun bagi skim berikut hanya golongan Bumiputera sahaja boleh melabur dalam skim berikut :-

    Skim Amanah Saham Bumiputera (ASB)
    Sekim Amanah Saham Nasional (ASN)
    Skim Amanah Saham Didik (ASD)
    Skim Amanah Saham Nasional 2 (ASN 2)
    Skim Amanah Saham Wawasan 2020 (ASW 2020) – 51% Bumiputera dan 49% Bukan Bumiputera

Berdasarkan Surat Ikatan Amanah seorang bumiputera adalah seperti yang tertulis di dalam Perlembagaan Malaysia iaitu Melayu, Bumiputera Sabah & Sarawak dan Orang Asli.
