Rooting is fine but I do not really like to change the ROM. I like the mixture feel of Android and Windows.  nod.gif

other than lewa OS rom, and unstable cymodgen rom, there is no other ROMs available for nokia x, rooting not meant for custom rom tongue.gif

Yep. I knew that. laugh.gif I just change the ROM for my other phone. Eventually I feel that rooting itself is enough. Stock ROM is good enough. It looks like u loves phone? Since ur profile picture is a phone? tongue.gif

The phone become more and more cheaper with good specs. For example, last time i buy Nokia N73 and it is considered powerful symbian phone on that time. After few years, many phones are better than it already.

Yup, I think lumia phones are the first cheap but nice smartphone to start selling in Malaysia. I remembered 3 years ago, samsung galaxy ace 2 and samsung galaxy s3 mini was RM999 and RM1199 respectively. Then I saw nokia lumia 520 priced at RM599 at star newspaper, then after a few month or so, Nokia reduce the price to RM499.

Soling the mysteries behind the Nokia X

he phone has been built for emerging markets with a price of around 100 Euros where the market is very cut-throat with similarly priced, better-spec-ed, proper Android phones already available. Then again, the media attention has transformed into an initial positive result for the Nokia X with its first batch selling out in 4 minutes in China.

NOKIA X: NINE THINGS TO DO STRAIGHT OUT OF THE BOX

6. Use the back button!

A simple, but essential feature; the ‘back’ button at the bottom of the Nokia X will take you back one-step from wherever you are. Hold it for a second to jump back to the home screen.

7. Master Nokia MixRadio

If your country supports MixRadio, then you’re in for a whole new listening experience. Without the need for registration or subscription fees, you can instantly access tens of thousands of tunes, copious curated mixes, create your own mix and even download tracks over Wi-Fi to listen ‘offline’ when your signal isn’t at its best.

Once you’ve listened to a few tracks, giving them the thumbs up or down, MixRadio will build up a profile of your tastes and deliver you your own personalised music selection through Play Me. Hugely powerful, infinitely entertaining.

8. Set up your email

It takes less than a minute. Just click on the email icon from the home screen, tap the plus icon, enter your email address and password, give it a name (you can have multiple accounts) and, all being well, you’ll be ready to send and receive.

Nokia X will allow you to perform all the usual e-tasks, such as ‘starring’ important mail, searching your inbox, forwarding, replying and, if you have multiple accounts, viewing a unified inbox.

9. Take a picture

The Nokia X sports a 3MP camera, while the Nokia XL showcases a 5MP sensor, however it’s the camera settings that set the range apart. Click on the camera icon and you’ll have access to a wide range of features to capture the perfect shot Combine this with the wealth of photographic apps in the Store and you’ve got a potent portable snapper.
