Judging from your post, I can assume that meiyi uses a smarter smartphone which may only be samsung galaxy s4 [sg5 was just released recently] or iphone5s?

4. Personalise Fastlane

Think of Fastlane as your dynamic home screen. It’s here that you’ll receive up-to-the-minute notifications of apps, general features, email, social networks, MixRadio, messaging, maps and much more. 5. Customise your home screen

To make your Nokia X feel like your own, arrange your homescreen icons by ‘holding and dragging’ to wherever you want. To make an icon bigger, click the arrow that appears once an icon is selected. You can also put multiple icons in folders, add widgets and choose your own wallpaper from the Settings menu – either from pre-determined designs or your image gallery. On the 5-inch Nokia XL screen, you can really get creative.

Design

The Nokia X Normandy is quite similar in design to the smartphones in the Nokia Lumia series. With a colorful palette the device is able to fit any lifestyle. Moreover, its size of 4.55 x 2.48 x 0.41 makes the device easy to grip and its overall weight of only about 128.7 grams makes sure that the smartphone doesn’t become tiresome to the hand even when extensively used.

Specifications

Having in mind its low price, the Nokia X Normandy features quite powerful hardware. With a Dual-Core 1GHz Cortex-A5 processor that is backed up by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Play chipset, Adreno 203 GPU and as much as 512MB of RAM, the device is able to run almost any application on the Android OS market including some high-end mobile games.

Display & Camera

Even though some consider the 4.0 inch display a setback, as most new devices in the emerging market are with bigger displays, the choice of the manufacturer is actually better. While other smartphones featuring screens with bigger panels have small pixel density, thus giving off a pixelated multimedia feel, the 233 ppi pixel density of the Nokia X Normandy is perfect, making its resolution size as much as 480 x 800 pixels and letting the smartphone deliver a great multimedia experience.

One of the actual setbacks of the device is the 3.15 MP camera. Lacking certain features, the photos are noisy and their quality is dependant on the lighting conditions. However, the photos are of a decent enough quality for sharing through the various social networks. Video recording is also a possibility, but the device is only capable of recording videos at 480p and 30FPS. Moreover, a secondary camera is not possible, thus getting video conferencing off the table.

Battery Life

Having in mind the screen and the specifications of the Nokia X Normandy, the Li-Ion 1500 mAh battery featured on the device is a perfect choice. It lets the device withstand as much as 408 hours in standby mode, up to 10 hours of talktime and about 26 hours of music play.

Overall

Even though not perfect, lacking a secondary camera and offering videos and photos of poor quality, the Nokia X Normandy is nonetheless a perfect smartphone for the emerging market. Featuring powerful hardware and offering a great multimedia experience and decent battery life, the smart device is definitely worth its price tag.

Where gt so smart. S5. Haha. I am using S2. But it is slow nowadays. Thikn of buying a new 1. My 1st choice is Nokia. But need to save money to buy. Or u r interested in buyin me 1?

Am I almost near to guessing the super smartphone? speaking about guessing price, do you guys know that Huawei and Oppo had a guess price competition? Huawei Honor 3c and Oppo Find 7a. But i did not guess it correct

Ya. These games are so tough. Hundreds and thousand people participated. Quite a number of people complained about tiz n tat.

Some people who guessed answer correctly also did not receive the e-mail. Heard that from my friends.

Rooting will not change anything at nokia x, it just let you install apps that need root permission, for me, i root the phone so i can sync my gmail/google account and google play, and some game that need gmail account.

Rooting is fine but I do not really like to change the ROM. I like the mixture feel of Android and Windows.

I was pretty darn sure that the price of Huawei Honor 3c is RM599, Huawei even gave us some tips and say 'will the price of Huawei Honor 3c be higher due to shipping fee', in the end it is priced at RM499, trollll

She say S2 then S2 lo. That one difficult to guess. Especially Huawei Honor 3c. Range so big. For Oppo Find 7a, near to it only.
