Haha.. they don't want my money either. smile.gif so I contribute to OCBC. OCBC unlimited 1% is actually not bad... i received 12x last 2 month and 5x last month. So even if I use watami, it's still capped at 150. So OCBC 1% wins!

Back to the topic, if there is only one wish maybank will grant, I would wish their MBB2 Visa/Master is unlimited 1%.
*
i think if you have maxed out your watami card and u don't have ocbc i wonder which card will you choose if doesn't accept amex too ... anyone noticed got quite a number of ppl bashing the facebook ocbc page regarding titanium cc ?

Watami card also got unlimited point earn rm1 = 1 points.
If dine in watami get 2x points, oversea spending get 2x points too.

The point could directly redeem cash back, rate is rm50=12500 points, so is same with maybank visa/master. But yet better coz maybank 0.4%rate is counted by their GST redeem, not like pure cash back redeem on watami
All digi center with koisk machine accept amex
I usually pay using koisk machine on times square or the garden
*
yeah should use it when overseas good conversion rates

why you did not divide your rm1.5k-rm2k expenses to 2 months? unless each of your transaction is a huge transaction? otherwise, you can get rm50 rebate (x2) for 2 separate months.
*
it's still ok if no choice have to spend more than 1k a month still can get 5x points nod.gif

i think the rate for MBB Visa/Mstercard already increase...
on par with other bank card...so better use card that have cash rebate..

i still strongly suggest to use AMEX oversea whether weekend or not because of 5x TP...can cover the 2.5% fees..
*
with amex still quite high and double conversion if u have watami better use that nod.gif

actually if 5x treat point = 2% cash rebate. it almost same 2.5% (oversea charges) right?

just maybe less than 1% surcharge, so is it still worth for us to use amex? because dont plan to bring much money go oversea
*
amex still higher cos of the double conversion rates unless you are spending in USD, for Master/Visa it directly converts to MYR

This is wrong for all cards in Malaysia. This double conversion applies for any spending not in RM (possible cross-border fee) or USD (only single conversion).

I have used aeon watami so far it doesn't double convert unlike ocbc titanium

guys just realized if we use our TP to redeem the service tax is 2% cash back but if you use it to redeem eg. Aeon/Parkson vouchers would be around 1.67% cash back, so best is to keep calling to CS to redeem rm 50 ? hmm.gif

ok I guess will redeem parkson instead. btw my sister just applied for amex card but she doesn't have maybank account, does she need to go to any branch / maybank card centre to get the PIN number for online banking without having to open a savings account ?
