2) if you get 12k cl, then just need to deposit 13k into your cc account to make it 25k

option 2:
1) deposit 17k into your cc account to make your cl 25k (8k+17k)
2) then swipe to buy your item

if the merchant accept amex, both ways you will get 5x tp (+5% if you swipe during weekends).
if weekdays = 25k x 5 tp = 125k tp = rm500 cash back
if weekends = rm500 + rm50 (5% capped at rm50) = rm550 cash back

debit card can be used as atm card, but not the other way round.

yeah, with the normal atm card (without debit card feature) you don't have to pay rm8 per year (if you withdraw less than 5 times per month).

but if not mistaken, only atm card (without debit card feature) is allowed to have the rm8 waived with less than 5 times usage per month. for debit card, it is automatically charged with rm8 annually although usage is less than 5 times per month.

as i know, there is black and white stating about this in t&c for atm card but not sure debit card. also, less than 5 times a month means max 4 times a month.

yeah, mbb will adjust back the figure once they realise the mistake... unless he cancelled his card before mbb found out the mistake.

but i do get extra from bank before.
last time i did a dispute with mbb and it took about 2 years but still pending (although i follow up weekly).
in the end, mbb gave me that disputed amount based on their goodwill and then the merchant also return back the same amount to me after few months later.

yeah, because i kept on disturbing them (for 2 years) to close my case due to obvious signature fraud.
the merchant later returned the money to me in cheque, but mbb cannot get back the money from me because i already cancelled the card right after they gave me the money.

yes, you can apply online by emailing them your application form together with supporting documents.

that time the card is petronas visa and after i cancelled i do not own any cc from mbb for a while. after 1-2 years later after mbb2cards launched i signed up and i think mbb forgotten about it already.
