Yea i know.Awaiting for it eagerly though..RM899 seems like a worthy investment by me.Just too bad i cant get myself a good GC that is able to power up this LCD and play games on native resolution.Maybe i should stick somewhere down..

Anyone owning this LCD or anything similar tried running it on with 8600series GC and native resolution?

i run 1680*1050 on UT2004 with my vanilla 6800 AGP + 226bw. can be laggy/ jerky at times....can be smooth as well...

but im guessing the jerkyness/ lagginess is mostly caused by the NV40 core's unresolvable issues with the NF3 250Gb chipset. been having this issue for quite awhile.

but other than that...everything is friggin sharp drool.gif absolutely love it

n considering the PCIe 7300GT at 4x can even whoop my AGP 6800 Vanilla at 8x in benchmark scores... i wouldnt be surprised if it works out fine for urs....

i suggest try playing games first with ur 7300GT before going for an upgrade.

as for my sollution for my GC, im going for huge upgrade end of the month which includes an 8800GTS or 2900XT drool.gif

Well, the problem is, Galaxy had told me that my card would at least take about 2month for fixing. Now, its only about 2 weeks. I am already starting to get crazy not being able to power up my PC for 2 days (previously using cousin's GC). I am not sure how much longer i can take it..lol...And when the LCD arrives, i think the feeling will get even worse..

How long will it take for Dell to deliver the item?

You got a good deal with that LCD plus the free cam, i got my 226BW at RM1100 (PC Fair), only free Samsung T-Shirt biggrin.gif

You need atleast 8800 GTS 320mb or above to power that resolution

With 8600 GC, it depends on the games... Some games are not that demanding icon_rolleyes.gif

Yea, that is what i felt personally. I do know the 226BW would perform superior than this but the deal made by Dell seems irresistable. Free webcam, delivery, 3 year on site support and most of all, the ability to do installment really got into me..lol..

8800GTS..LOL..if only the accept installment again.. tongue.gif

22" Rev and 24" Rev are different as the E228 is still new so not much revision =)

RevA04 fixes alot of stuff like the terrible backlight bleeding and banding on the RevA03 of 2407WFP =) It also provide support for 1080p IIRC

Blame EA for not making BF2142 Widescreen supported.
But meh, forget about the game that doesn't support widescreen cause I'm getting myself another normal 19" LCD anyway..

My thought of 228WFP is..Very great and superior for it's price.
You can't find any 22" cheaper than this.
I get this for Rm875..Which I'm most satisfied ( Again, forget bout the game )

Watching movie and anime with this is pure bliss. Well, that is from a first time that a person using a 22" widescreen..

hey, sorry i've a super noob question bcos i never use a widescreen before and im a heavy gamer..

for those games that do not support wide-screen, and let's say we have a wide-screen and play those game that not support widescreen feature, how will the screen looks like? screen on the middle and blank at 2 sides? or doesn't show display at all? sorry for this super noob question..
