Thinking want to change or not. 260k km and 9 yrs old already...plan to drive for another 2~3 years
*
Change it. I've seen other owners have driven their TMO above 500,000 KM biggrin.gif

This is a very reliable car. I plan to keep mine forever.

Got so cheap mer?
If really so cheap I may have already changed to ori last time. I think I also get quote about 2k f by at automan. If ori they say about 3k biggrin.gif if not mistaken.
*
You can try and get the quotation from Hingan and buy from them.

After that, just get a workshop to install for you and pay them labour. I think around RM100 labour charges is enough.

Pump back ron 95. The annoying rough sound when accelerate coming back. I hate that sound plus sluggish feel from standstill 😅😅.

I tot 16inch so big for city hence sluggish pickup. Never know ron 95 is the real culprit.

So its like a compulsory for me. Bye bye ron 95. I think will always put 97 after this.
*
You should give BHP RON 95 a try. It has double the fuel additives as compared to other fuel brands.

In addition, their fuel stock are in between EURO 3 to EURO 4 specification.

This Hingan Quoted me

Front absorber RM 280 per pc
Front absorber bump stopper RM 38 per pc
Front absorber mounting only have OEM RM 28 per pc
Front absorber bar bush RM 20 per pc
Rear absorber no stock, order RM 360 per pc
*
I believe they've wrongly quoted you or have included additional items in the absorber set.

Does anyone feel that the ride on this TMO generation is very firm? Mine on stock suspension 195 55 15 tires seems to be able to be very harsh on crappy Klang Valley roads. Just changed to 185 65 15, noticeably better but bad roads still causes bumpy rides
*
Yeah. It is quite bumpy actually.

I believe we will have to go and replace the airbag for the 2nd time. Toyota too had initiated a 2nd recall 2 months ago for cars which had replaced their airbags earlier.

Just to check with all of you, how is KYB absorber compared to Showa absorber ? More "bouncier" ?
*
Yes. Confirm KYB is more stiff and bouncier than Showa original absorber.

Sounds like they purpose did that so you wouldn't go install.

SC makes more quite money by changing lubes than performing diagnostics and repairs.

anyone replace the original HU to android player?

recently feel want to change it but afraid will regret.
the original HU seems more classy lol

I believe the original HU is more durable. Those android units are chinese oem brand which i don't think is long lasting

*
Is it a burnt fius that is causing the original USB port to not function?

Looks like the starter motor issue finally getting serious.
Previously need 2 crank during warm start,
now is 3 or more, sometime cant start at all.

Does SC still entertain if I want to claim? or should I just find workshop to replace a denso starter unit? (in penang)
*
How old is your TMO? If it is more than 8 years, better just replace a new Denso starter.
