Mine is not under Honda Fluid as kena fake item before, now went to another reputable brand , fully syn with compatible with ATF-Z1 or ATF-DW1
*
ooo...
but i read online, even oversea people/mechanic in US says for honda, better stick to honda ATF. coz honda transmission is a bit sensitive.

How often you change your ATF fluid? You follow Honda's recommendation to replace every 60,000 km or earlier?

Sometimes, other brand of ATF might have better detergent, thus making the fluid goes dark faster.

Would you like to listen to my recommendation if I am in your situation?  biggrin.gif
*
outside workshop recommend yearly or 20k km.
i intend to follow. especially my previous experience with the ATF online, since then i replaced once only. so likely there are still a good amount of that fluid still in there.
so its best i change yearly for now and its considered cheap. if you compare it a new car with monthly installment + service in official SC laugh.gif

My car is a used car which i got it on last year May, so maintenance history are unknown
so to track the service records , i done all the necessary change like engine oil, ATF fluid (includes ATF filter change) , Brake fluid, radiator flush and replace the coolant to Type-2 coolant
Only recently ATF fluid change due to faulty 3rd gear solenoid, ATF fluid mileage around 17,000km, also replace the ATF filter along the fluid change.
*
if i'm in this position. i would change the ATF fluid more often and monitor. your 6800 km is how long? if its more than a year i would definitely change it on time at 1 year. and continue monitor. if its just changing fluid more frequently, its not a very big problem.

like what balanced said, maybe the detergent more strong for your ATF, hence cleaning transmission more. but for better or worse, who knows.

hows the drive by the way?

I think you don't need to worry too much about this internal filter. Just replace the external filter is sufficient.

The durability of the TMO gearbox will easily outlast the T9A CVT gearbox by miles...

I've seen TMO owners posted in FB group that they had travelled beyond 600,000 km on the same engine and gearbox.  biggrin.gif
*
can you share the fb group?
i also realize recently that i join several group of cars that i may consider purchasing 2nd hand in the future, but not on TMO

i fully depends on this group for anything specific to our car biggrin.gif

I've replaced both my rear door window moulding.

Bought the Honda original Thailand part costing RM120 a piece.

I DIY-ed and installed it. Seems quite easy to do it.

Once I've taken out the old moulding, can see some parts of the rubber are torn due to wear and tear.

I went and bought a new RH side engine mounting from spare parts shop last year.

The seller says better to get the OEM Thailand made mounting. If buy all 3 pieces, it will only cost less than RM500.

If buy the Honda original mounting, the price will come close to RM900.

He further said that both are made from the same factory... only difference is one is certified by Honda, one isn't. (means no Honda chop only).

I opted for the OEM Thai made mounting.
*
nonono..all 3 mountings less than rm700, about rm660 from honda stockist.
in my case, hingan to be precise.

hingan pudu can buy online bro?. original mounting is cheaper than even shopee price wo. damn. better buy from hingan like that. lol.

Dont think they do online bro. Thats why nowadays my modus operandi is to ask ori price first baru decide buy ori or aftermarket. Sometimes the difference not too much.

You also encounter gearshift judder when changing gears during driving?
*
there's many. and all happens once in a while.
-when start up car, sometimes moving from P to R to get out of car park, it will jerk more, you can feel something move at the engine bay, and the movement of the gear stick also harder.
- like you said, when shifting gear during driving sometimes feel judder, especially from stationary, 1st to 2nd gear. after moving, usually okay, maybe coz got downforce. (but you have to remember as well the case where i use "fake" ATF oil, thought replaced, it may have some effect. so the next test to know is after replace ATF another time + change mounting)
- when go over bump, sometimes there is some noise from the front, like something move, but not metal to metal, more like a squishy sound. previously thought its absorber but changed before.
- now during idle in D at traffic lights. can hear vibration (happen most time), not so much on feeling it. this is when the aircon kicks in and rpm slightly higher. but its not idle hunting. i now it coz if idle hunting, i encounter before if idle in P, it will feel like engine wants to die off sometimes biggrin.gif. this is fixed after throttle body cleaning a year or so ago.

all in all, need to change la. remember i memang dah buy all 3, belum replace coz foreman jack up say no movement pula. so i chicken/cheap out.
now malas wanna go purposely only. thats why dateline is the next oil change early next year.

or

i'm taking leave one day a week on november to clear leave. see how.

Pretty much okay if you get parts from the workshop itself.
Parts could go slightly cheaper if you source the parts youself.

So depends on your preference la.
