Cannot go back to Honda SC already.. 12 year old car, have to fork out 40% betterment charges to get new original parts.

coming to close to 10years of owning this car, (Aug 2013).
so far:

- mileage about 158k. daily driver and family car for trips
- no major issues, mainly wear and tear parts as expected (absorbers, mounting , bush)
- a/c no issues except re gas one time, strangely after that didn't had any issues
- had rear ended accident a few years ago, had after bout 1 year realized spare tyre area had water seepage
determined that it was caused either by wear & tear of boot rubber, or the repair job reused it and sealing wasn't good anymore
(seems to be a common problem for TMO/GM2, so have your boot rubber inspected and change when necessary
- my driver side lock actuator was jammed, changed it half cut for rm150 part only
- as always, there are still sounds (kruuikkk, nyett nyett). i have not totally done a total change or inspection on absorber links; lower arm etc
- no leakage on any gasket area on engine yet..
- i have been faithfully using morrison EO for couple of years , at least 5years..didnt had any problemo
- engine still relative silent. at times i'm amazed what the japs had engineered

plan to use till it ages, or starts giving me major problems
*
10 yrs already huh...mine is same as your, aug 2013.
i think we even discuss about tinted last time when collect car oh gosh...
my car still a 10 to me, clock at 162+k milleage, no major issue, regular maintenance every half yearly.
i have the same thought to keep it using as my daily driver till it cannot be pakai anymore.

I only service my car once a year as I usually clock in less than 10k mileage annually.
*
i guess i will reduce to annually as well since now go to office by using MRT. previously drive 60km round trip to office daily.

Hello,
Has anyone here installed rear dashcams in your Honda City?

If yes would appreciate if you could share:
1.How did the installer route the wiring in your car? (Was it running through the middle of the car?)
2.Where did you mount the dashcam?

Also bonus would appreciate if can share the dash cam model you installed pls

I want to install the rear dashcam but not sure how much of work is needed for this car model. Also a bit worried the wireman will do a shoddy job

Edit:I found this as sample but so many on Youtube rclxub.gif

i got z40 installed on my city with rear recorder.
installer route the wiring through tepi pillar, not middle.

just go any accessories shop that install dashcam they should do the job properly.

Hello,
Anyone here has the model/type name and power rating for the bulb thatโ€™s used on the main front headlamp?

Is it Bosch H11 55W?
*
should be H4 if yours is GM2

sold mine back in March this year, mileage clocked at 192k
jump ship to EV.

been contemplating to keep as backup car but stay in condo has limited carpark
and only me alone here so decided to sell off this car despite that it's low in maintenance.
