dam noob me... I hv that install previously  tongue.gif
by the way, I hv one playlist previously share in the thread where have almost 500 channel...
can we add another playlist without replacing the previous playlist?

is this playlist share by rizchannel has EPG timeline (channel schedule)?
*
If you want to make use of multiple playlists at the same time then you need to install "Playlist Loader" Add-on from Super repo and create multiple playlists for each list.
No rizchannels doesn't have EPG... still trying to figure out how to create and maintain EPG.

I bought those 2.4GH Wireless remotes, i think they are much better to use than this kind.. you can easily program keys to your liking and backside full keyboard also comes very handy.
You can look for RII or Mele few links for your

Jaan76,

Don't know why, but your List of Channels on my PC very intense buffering, After few seconds buffer for few seconds, then start playing, then after few seconds start buffering for few seconds , then plays for few seconds, then buffers for few seconds .... cycle keep on repeating.

Any adjustments I can make to improve ?
*
Let me check bro, I only experienced some buffering last night on few channels. Will check again. Btw have you done network buffering settings in your advancedsettings.xml? Though they don't impact much on live channels but still good to have.

If you have limited space in your media player i.e. 8GB/16gb you can add the following lines in your advancedsettings.xml, on my RPI 2 and Amazon FireTV i'm using this

<network>
<buffermode>1</buffermode>
<cachemembuffersize>157286400</cachemembuffersize>
<readbufferfactor>20</readbufferfactor>
</network>

or if you are using Kodi on a PC or on a device with huge storage i.e few 100gbs then you can add the following lines

On my HTPC i'm using this

<network>
<buffermode>1</buffermode>
<cachemembuffersize>0</cachemembuffersize>
<readbufferfactor>10</readbufferfactor>
</network>

If you want to learn or understand what these values and parameters are you can follow this link to read more
http://kodi.wiki/view/HOW-TO:Modify_the_video_cache

But i have finalised the above two settings after changing and testing different parameters and works like a charm for me now... On my HTPC sometime whole movie is downloaded and buffered even before i reach halfway.

Yes these settings work on all devices and yes this mainly improve video playback while watching movies and other contents but due to how some LiveTV channels behaves this can have some impact on that too.

<minvideocachelevel>60</minvideocachelevel>
<minaudiocachelevel>60</minaudiocachelevel>
</pvr>

Hi Guys, I have once again updated my list, I have checked all channels are working, I have also added the logos so now in your IPTV you can get logs along with the channel name. you need to download my logos directory from the link and save it on your device and point it in the client.

Yes these remotes do work with Android. I have personally used Mele with Android media devices in past and they work well with Kodi on RPI or any other OS

Well frankly EPG is not a priority for me but currently I'm testing to integrate one EPG with my list if that works sure I will share but if it doesn't then not now may be later.

Why not Raspberry Pi 2? Is much better and stable than most actually all the Android based media players.

i see. let me go research on it 1st.
btw, how much does it cost?
*
Sure bro do your research it's always good but as i mentioned there's hardly a Android media box brand which you can name here and i would not have tried and based on that experience i recommended that instead of wasting money on those so call good for nothing Android boxes you should spend that money to build/buy a Raspberry PI 2. Based on different prices listed on Lelong and depending on how much storage you want in the RPI 2 it can cost you max RM400... This RM 400 will buy you a RPI 2 device with a class 10 32GB sd card and a wireless remote with keyboard at the back.
I have just build one for a friend of mine and that's how much it cost. If you only gonna use it to play online contents and IPTV and you do not have any local media (huge library of locally stored movies) then you won't need even a 32GB card and a 8GB or 16GB card will do which will bring down the cost as most of the Ads listed on lelong/here do include a bundle 8gb sd card and so price can be minus 70/75RM from the RM400. Again if you don't want to use a fancy wireless remote and simple IR or a old keyboard can do the job you can minus another RM100 from the cost.. So as such the device is around RM200 only but i think that would be the best RM200-400 you will spend to build a good performing media box.

If you new to all this i can help you build one and setup with all the cool Add-ons for movies and LiveTVs. smile.gif

guys... im looking for iptv for my xbmc (PC) to watch all astro channels. anyone know if its possible. i know there is a paid service for android tvbox to watch astro channels..

but im looking for the one can be used for pc
*
Bro my maintained IPTV list contain almost 300 channels which all are working at the time of writing this post smile.gif But there are even more Addons available for you to try... my list even have so many channels from M'asia, Indonesia, Singapore and almost 100+ sports channels.
BTW few very good Addons for Live TV are:
1. RobinHood Project (there's a list call HDKing that contain even 720p/1080p channels and even 1 4K channel)
2. Channel Pear is another good Add-on
3. IPTVxtra also have channels from M'asia, UK, Thai and many other countries.
4. Zeus is also another good Add-on to try

So as you can see there are plenty of contents and sources available for you to consume smile.gif you take your pic smile.gif

Have tried this, but it was only a bit better, not significant enough.

I guess for me the best option is just stick with the Kodi Addons. I watched the same Live TV channel on IPTV Stalker and everthing went smoothly without any pauses.
*
Bro what are the configs of your PC and what's your internet speed? I'm using my list and many other IPTVs Addons on 3 different devices and even streaming 720p/1080p channels and have almost never experienced buffering. One of the device i used for streaming was RPI 2 which only got 1gb RAM and still runs everything smoothly.

thanks for the info. im just new to this RPI2 thing as im more familiar to android stuff. will give RPI2 a try.
im just gona need it to stream movies & liveTVs using kodi.
and for the build, i think basic stuff will do as im buying this to replace my home ast.. brows.gif  brows.gif

Frankly bro it doesn't matter to me whatever you but but cuz you asked here so keep saying this... if you purely want for Kodi & live streaming then Android devices are not the most reliable one.... Many of these so called Android players claims too much about running Kodi but has lot of stability issues... So before you spend your bucks do read on RPI 2. I was never in favour of RPI 2 but once i thought to give a try and since after that i became a fan smile.gif
Rest you read and decide smile.gif

actually before i post here, my mind was pretty convinced to the android path, but once u show me the RPI 2, did some research on it and i feel that it is way more better than android stuff. guess i dint explore more enough on gadget stuff.
btw, wer to buy RPI2?
thank you so much for the help.. appreciate it
*
There are 2 ways you can buy, i have seen many folks including RPI official reseller selling on lelong, or if you want to buy from a shop then in Lowyat Plaza level 4 Hyper IT Mart is also selling but if you buy online from Lelong you can save few bucks smile.gif....
Though i would suggest don't buy the bundle (included with card) cuz most of these guys selling with card is not a class 10 card i believe and i think you should buy at least a 16gb class 10 card from future point of view better smile.gif
Also for remote instead of buying those IR remotes you can buy either Mele or Rii remotes which are wireless and on one side have media keys and on back have full keyboard those will cost you from RM90-120 depending on which brand and model you buy... but they are better due to full keyboard and can keys can easily be programmed for Kodi... that's how i did the setup for my friend.
If you would like i can share the links with you too.

Do share me the link for remote and RPI2 from lelong. As for the remote,help me recommend me 1 which bang for buck. Thanks
*
Here's the link for RPI 2 and i think this is the best deal on Lelong
http://www.lelong.com.my/raspberry-pi-2-ca...7-01-Sale-I.htm
You get few freebies with the above deal, if not interested in freebies the below is another link for just the board.
http://www.lelong.com.my/original-raspberr...7-01-Sale-I.htm
and you can look for following casings incase if you don't go for 1st option:

http://www.lelong.com.my/enclosure-transpa...5-12-Sale-P.htm
http://www.lelong.com.my/raspberry-pi-2-mo...7-01-Sale-I.htm
http://www.lelong.com.my/raspberry-pi-b-2-...7-01-Sale-I.htm
http://www.lelong.com.my/raspberry-pi-b-2-...7-01-Sale-I.htm

I don't think you need to buy the WiFi dongle unless you not interested n LAN, which is more recommended cuz of speed and BTW don't forget to buy original power adapter, do not use others.... Power is important for good performance.

For remote I would recommend RII RT-MWK25
http://www.lelong.com.my/rii-mini-i25-k25-...6-07-Sale-P.htm
http://www.lelong.com.my/rii-mini-i25-rt-m...6-07-Sale-P.htm

or if you want a bit cheaper then you can buy Mele F10 Pro
http://www.lelong.com.my/mele-f10-deluxe-2...7-01-Sale-I.htm

I have personally tested Mele F10 Pro but i have read reviews of Rii and i think Rii is better and i will be buying a Rii this week for a friend of mine for whom i'm building another media player this week smile.gif

So take your picks bro and Enjoy smile.gif
