BBTS working. It's the source that's problematic sometimes. Normal for third-party sources.

Can try tweaking the cache via advancesettings.xml file. Sometimes that helps with buffering issues.

QUOTE(paskal @ Feb 3 2015, 05:51 PM) get it from rsmalaysia. it's supposed to be in stock and be delivered in 4 days. which usually means if the stock is already in malaysia it'll be dispatched tomorrow. Ended up getting from both. Ordered from RS then Element got back to me with stock update. This kinda bodes well for the Pi 2. QUOTE In our tests we have seen a substantial performance boost comparing to the 1st generation of Raspberry Pi boards. For example - the new board can easily run 3 HD streams from USB and network tuners at the same time using only 35% of CPU without any packet drops or performance issues. |

QUOTE(ieian81 @ May 29 2015, 09:57 AM) Hi, Directly, no. Indirectly, yes.Anyone here channeling Astro Beyond HD through their Open Elec? Looking to set that up, and first advice needed:- Which TV Tuner Card to buy that supports HD and works out of the box with Open Elec? What you need is a HDMI capture card/box, not a TV tuner card, preferably with built in IR Blaster function. You'll need to hook it up to a Windows PC to act as a server since it's the platform with most driver and software support for what you want to do. You'll also need a HDCP stripper, some HDMI switch/splitters have this as a hidden function. On the software side if you go with Hauppauge HD-PVR2, Colossus or Colossus 2, it will come with the necessary software. I have mine setup to feed my Astro channels to a Raspberry Pi 2 and another Amlogic AM8726-MX box running OpenElec. |

QUOTE(calvin @ Jun 7 2015, 02:14 PM) hmm it doesn't come as a bundle ? mind sharing which merchant you bought it from and they do direct shipping to MY ? It's only available if you ship to US address, as the offer is only for US residents. Amazon does ship the Shield Console to MY.This post has been edited by MK84: Jun 7 2015, 02:39 PM |
