hi, newbie to xbox here. my friend wants to buy the xbox360s+kinect bundle from the usa, will he have to get games which are the same region as his console? btw, is it easy to get us region games in msia? is the price the same as other region?

he says the bundle is about 300usd for a 4gb model. is 4gb enough? the other set is 250gb, why is there such a big gap? can the 4gb use external storage to increase capacity?

basically, just wanna know if its worth buying it there and bringing it here to use in msia. if games are harder to get/more expensive, then probably he wont buy it there

u can use an external HDD/pendrive, BUT!! maximum 16gb for each storage devices & u need 0.5gb for installation

definitely more expensive & limited seller.. BUT is ur call, we(forumers) just guide u..

i ask several friends who play xbox i said is 4GB enough and all of them answer "NO", so i say go for 250GB as so many ppl said not enough it would be wrong.

buy NTSC/J version as most malaysian are using that region console, if u buy from US, i presume PAL, u cant trade games with those are offereing in LYN here.
There alot 2nd hand games offer on LYN, its better than buy every RAL region new games~

can md console play original game?

NOPE!! can NOT.. inside modded console there's a chip/software that straight away reject original games when inserted
therefore u got to buy a not modded console if u want to play ori games offline or online..

hey guys. i need help here.
planning to get xbox 360 slim + kinect today or tomorrow.
my problem is that there will be three of us playing this console. my sisters and i, all girls, aged 13, 14 and 17.
and our playing mood will keep changing. as in we dont like playing the same game over and over again; despite the different stages and all.
so of cos we cannot get a lot of games if we get the original, unmodded version as the games would be expensive.
but is it recommended for us to get the modded one? what are the pros and cons?
and where can i get the modded one if i decide to get the modded one?

p/s: im sorry im asking something related to the modded stuff. i dont know where else to ask :\

1. i cant really answer it. for me, theres only 2 games i m interested in, dance central and kinectimals.
dance central similar to ddr 1990's. the kinect bundles comes with 1 game, might keep u occupied.
2. i recommend getting the unmodded first expecially if ur new to the xbl, no point going underground just for a few *ahem* games. kinect games cost RM120 (new) u can get several 2nd hand games here.
3. theres a point of buying 10 *ahem* games that u dont like (if u can find 10 games, since the gaming industry is the slums now) and u can play only 50%-80% of the contains.
4. modded console cost more and risk of getting ban/bricked.

ok friend of mine got a xbox360 4gb kinect bundle from the states. to use it here, must he get a step down transformer, or can he use a power adaptor meant for local/sg set to power his console?

which is the cheaper choice? do they sell the power adaptor seperately? anyone selling or can link me too anyone who is selling this stuff?
