Hey guys, I just got my xbox slim a few days ago and i would like to ask a few questions.

1. I'm using the composite AV cable, and when i play games, the graphics looks not much better than the PS2 graphics. So i was wondering, if i change to the HDMI cable, will it make a huge huge difference in terms of graphics?

2. If i switch cables, which is the best among the HDMI cable, HD component cable, and VGA cable? Which gives the best display? And also what are the differences between them?

3. If i switch to the HDMI cable, do i need to buy any other components for the audio or anything like that? Or can i just plug it in and play with the display and audio?

1. yes definately !!

2. component can only go up to 1080i. best to go wif hdmi or vga as they can both do 1080p. hdmi has sharper visuals while vga looks abit washed out.. well at least in my eyes !!

3. nope. hdmi carries both audio and video signals.. !!

Just got my hdmi cable. Graphics are so so amazing man compared to the composite AV cable
For the reference level do i just put it to standard mode? I'm using a full hd tv. And for the hdmi color space, do i put it to source or auto mode?

you should just leave this settings by default, using HDMI the color is already vibrant enough.
