i plan on buying xbox360 next week... the problem is i live in sabah so i would be a big problem if 3rod strikes my xbox360.. my question is, are the xb360 halo 3 limited edition and elite more reliable and less prone to 3rod compared to the premium version? sorry for the noob question~

actually if you purchase any console that is manufacture after oct 31. all machine are the falcon (regardless is a acrade/premium/elites)

Has anyone connected to XBL using the new Maxis 3.6Mbps USB Huawei modem? Zio is enlightening me currently, is a great help and I want to gather more info if possible Do i need a wireless adapter or simply a router to connect the XBOX360 to my PC?

Also I saw that there's a new XBOX360 package soon to be released in March 08. Said so on Play-Asia. What's the difference? It's a tad bit cheaper I think? Or is it a repackaged Core set?

you can actually use the maxis usb modem, but you need to link the xbox 360 to your pc.

but I heard a lot of people said maxis can't pass the MTU test.

is it normal for the text to be so small and sometimes almost unreadable when playing XO on a crt tv?

depends on games really.. all I know about text problem only on the dead rising game.

guys i have a probs where my xb360 reset its time when i play off line...


ok when i plug the lan cable and go online its fine.... then i turn off my console unplug the lan cable , after few hour i turn it on again.. the date become reset to old date not current date..... but when i replug my lan cable it connect to mslive it back to ok again.. is this normal or sommething wrong?

Why not? I used to have a HDMI to DVI connector for my PS3. not too shabby.

The 40gb ps3 is super competitive, i think the range around RM1300 (Maybe plus minus a bit). Fuyoh, That's gonna hurt our 20gb pro

But i think only with 2 usbs and with wifi. I nvr use my xbox usbs before anyway built-in Wifi would be a treat though.

i dont have any games loh.. The exclusives for ps3 are minimal. Non-exclusives no point la, since x360 games are cheaper than ps3. I think the only notable one is drake. I think heavenly sword is a bit overrated. Other exclusives are...NGS,Ratchet,folklore,eerrr.. warhawk and motorstorm?

I think PS3 is perfect for irregular gamers i guess..no xlive fees, and does not require constant playing (I heard the thermal paste in the x360 can dry up if not being used for a while right?) I know ull say im an irregular gamer too but i rather play x360.

The hdmi to dvi is quite good la. i used a third party one. much much better than x360's 3rd party vga cable.

P/S Dvi-d support up to 1920x1200 (16:10) which usually starts from 22" and above. This is considered HD quality already.

haha... one of the reason i don wanna switch is the game is expensive...
then another thing is it requires a LCD TV... which i never think of the HDMI to DVI converter...
