QUOTE(dctravels @ Dec 21 2015, 07:50 PM) Wow, do share when you have time. Won't mind to have some ideas. I've got QR F A380 lined up as my next AM redemption. Still no idea how to get Etihad Apartments without a US based credit card. may i know what is CX mean? You need to book 300+ days in advance. I just checked KUL-LHR and there are at least 2 CX J seats available same time next year. thanks |

QUOTE(Yippie123 @ Dec 23 2015, 05:44 PM) True, for frequent flyer, lounge is really needed for work and rest. Try to imagine you hv to work whenever you hv time in between. Nothing glamorous as frequent flyer honestly. And I never use any baggage tag. Hi can you please explain further what is mean by Z fares, CX, FFP and MPOOne trick for MH redemption tho. Z fares earn you status on CX... Redeem Z fares and change FFP by phone to MPO. Thanks |

QUOTE(Yippie123 @ Dec 25 2015, 09:04 PM) Hi, it should be D class. A, or D class redemption will work. Thanks for your details explanation. I'm still new to this FFP, just get my premier card few months ago and decide start to study more on the miles redemtion F, A, J, C, D, Z, I, ...... are fare class. Only specific fare class are eligible to accrued miles. CX = Cathay Pacific FFP = Frequent Flyer Program MPO = Marco Polo As I know, miles exchange from credit card does not count as Elite miles and therefore useless on status upgrade, any trick to use the miles exchange from credit card to upgrade the status? eg Enrich silver, krisflyer silver MPO silver Thanks |

QUOTE(knwong @ Dec 30 2015, 11:14 AM) Just called up Mazda sales, they said can allow full car payment by credit card but only accept Master and Visa. On top of that has to fork out the 2% charges but this charges must paid by cash. 2.5k cash for 52k miles Doesn't sound like worth it to buy a 125k car... just about the price, the 52k miles can be exchange for flight ticket worth about 2.5k as well, so no lose no gain, but you show to the bank that you are able to swipe 125k and pay back in one shoot, may increase your credit rating within the bank, make you easier for future card upgrade, credit limit increase and loan application. |

QUOTE(dctravels @ Jan 5 2016, 11:33 AM) I'll keep the 100k+ points for a while, accumulate new ones with your m2card premier, then do a conversion. I managed to clear my points from older cards this way. YMMV of course. You mean point accumulate from normal card able to convert to miles at 4770TP - 1000 miles ?This post has been edited by terence_say: Jan 5 2016, 12:46 PM |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 28 2016, 10:25 PM) My big boss who is a foreigner (Middle Eastern if you want to know) started working in Malaysia on last year's October. He went and opened a bank account with Maybank by using our company's letter which stated his monthly salary and came back with a lot of goodies that time. I didn't ask further until yesterday he was so frustrated because his card didn't go through for his purchase in Lazada. Is a Premier Wealth or Private Wealth debit card?Anyway, he asked for my opinion for credit card and I told him to get M2Cards Premier because he flies all the time and it's definitely a good way for him to earn some miles as he always upgraded to business and first class on his own expenses. I hope my suggestion is correct. You know la I'm still too far from this kind of Premier cards. |

Just called premier CS just now and the officer confirmed that only principal card can access to local ppl and 5 overseas ppl maximum 5 times a year, supp card no longer enjoy PPL benefit.
I express my disappointment and the CS start nervous as I can feel from her voice, I then cancel the Platinum 2 card directly as I already intend to do this few months back and I request to transfer all my TP under this card Platinum 2 card to my MAN U VI, to my surprise, the officer say yes and help me to transfer directly. |
