+1 on that.

I guess that's why I'm focusing on keycaps now.

Maybe get a god status custom TKL, then can rest easy already.

Can share some examples ?

btw can ducky zero tkl and filco tkl be modded with LEDs?

God status custom? I'm not poisoned enough at the moment, but off the top of my head would be KMAC 2 of sorts?

I personally like ergo layouts, but so far ergodox seems like the best custom one around.

Any sifus wanna contribute?

I'm not sure about ducky zero TKL, but ducky zero has shine variants, so might wanna look that way.

When controller die, swap teensy board. Life goes on.

not all pcb support teensy anyway. neither the design nowadays support.

Oh heck. Solder everything yourself, then unsolder the dead controller, then solder on the teensy somehow.

On the other hand, I'm not sure if it's worth it.

Read it again?

Most likely will be razer or CM for that range.

Purists here don't like macro keyboard because those keyboards usually have non-standard layout and the keycaps can't be changed.

If you want blink-blink, CM Storm has few keyboards that suits your needs with your budget of RM350.
If you want serious premium quality (not looks) then Ducky Zero TKL or stretch a bit go Filco TKL, but those are standard keyboard, no extra keys for macro.
For Macros, look at Steelseries or Razer.

Why did you sell you cheat?
Btw, I saw this kmac 1.2, 375 shipped with everything in the picture.
I think it's a good deal. What say you? Hopefully it's not a scam. Any advise on dealing with ppl from geekhack?

Cheat sux
Any case that allows the PCB to move around in it, is not a good case. Kills the typing feel

Aiseh...

Actually now I'm looking for a MX clear unit for testing. I'm willing to put up some money for deposit if you are willing to loan, but kinda hard to find this switch here.

you have to use a keyboard which is built for japanese layout.
then only consider jp keycaps.
meanwhile, only amazon jp can help you about this.
