QUOTE(Puteih @ Feb 18 2014, 05:22 PM) because among other mech keyboards on display, it's the only one that gave out clear tack sound. Others just like very soft tack tack There's two sounds that are made when keys are hit; the sound of the switch (optional) and the sound of the keys bottoming out. Brown is more of a tut and blues more of a CLICK. Thin keycaps will have a sharper sound, towards TICK TICK TICK whole doubleshots/SP PBTs will sound more THUNK when bottoming out. Balance of probability dictates that it's more likely to be blue switch instead of greens (rare) or clear (even rarer). |

Rejoice gamers. Signature plastic is now offering a variety of sizes for their space bars.
I'm not really sure what sizes you need though, but at least it's no longer hopeless. Unless its x6.5, then you're screwed. |

QUOTE(0168257061 @ Feb 19 2014, 01:06 PM) Good luck with that. Gaming keyboards kinda peak out at RM500 (or so, IIRC). Would they spend another USD53 (lowest unlock at SP groupbuy) for keycaps? Good luck with that...Unless SP manage to figure out how Deck is getting their shine-through transparent keycaps to work and copies it, but I suspect it is a patented process. BUT the fugly font on Deck... QUOTE(quovadis123 @ Feb 19 2014, 01:07 PM) Where's the link? http://keyshop.pimpmykeyboard.com/product/spacebar-inventoryI believed what SP did is for custom and normal layout user.. Not sure they care about gamers anyway. They will do customs, but... you'll need to lead a groupbuy. |

QUOTE(Chew Yongxian @ Feb 19 2014, 01:47 PM) I think I'm the only one stupid enough so far to do exactly what you just said. Please. Think of Keycaps as investment. I buy keycaps, and then keep it around and see if there's anything I can make with it. So far, I'm definitely going to keep my doubleshot set and my SP set and put it on my next keyboard. $45 on keycaps and other stuff already. At least there is a 6.5x space bar included. QUOTE(quovadis123 @ Feb 19 2014, 01:50 PM) Kesian, gamers.. Pay premium price for gaming keyboard... >premiumThen buy a spacebar also not much choice, kena bully must take abs summore. third world problem,sp not care All our sifus' custom would like a word. But yeah, SP doesn't care. Maybe someday you'll get a manufacturer who's willing to do it, but I highly doubt it. In the meantime, I'm enjoying my think PBTs. |

QUOTE(Chew Yongxian @ Feb 19 2014, 03:05 PM) All hail long lasting MKBs! +1 on that. Well, most people mod it for looks anyways, so no surprises there. I think the longevity is given so they mostly focus on aesthetics. I guess that's why I'm focusing on keycaps now. Maybe get a god status custom TKL, then can rest easy already. |

QUOTE(Chew Yongxian @ Feb 19 2014, 03:31 PM) QUOTE(Y.J.S @ Feb 19 2014, 03:40 PM) God status custom? I'm not poisoned enough at the moment, but off the top of my head would be KMAC 2 of sorts?I personally like ergo layouts, but so far ergodox seems like the best custom one around. Any sifus wanna contribute? I'm not sure about ducky zero TKL, but ducky zero has shine variants, so might wanna look that way. |

QUOTE(crazy_ape91 @ Feb 19 2014, 05:05 PM) read already. Read it again? Most likely will be razer or CM for that range. Purists here don't like macro keyboard because those keyboards usually have non-standard layout and the keycaps can't be changed. |

QUOTE(wildwestgoh @ Feb 19 2014, 05:14 PM) If you want blink-blink, CM Storm has few keyboards that suits your needs with your budget of RM350. >premium quality (not looks) then Ducky Zero TKLIf you want serious premium quality (not looks) then Ducky Zero TKL or stretch a bit go Filco TKL, but those are standard keyboard, no extra keys for macro. For Macros, look at Steelseries or Razer. One of this is not like the other~~ |
