QUOTE(SpikeTwo @ Jun 5 2007, 12:25 PM) that microsoft keyboard looks like laptop keyboard. sure uncomfortable for games. LOL...but nice design tho. uh well dun wanna spend so much but 200+ should be okmost keyboards cant get usb 2.0 is because it was only supplied with usb 2.0 single port (for g15's case, a single usb2.0 input, it has backlights, two usb 1.1 outputs). unless someone manufactured a double usb input for the keyboard, then it might be able to supply usb2.0. because usb2.0 devices takes up more power compared to 1.1. valho, wat's ur budget? i would advise u to take on G15 if u have the extra cash. QUOTE(z3r0717 @ Jun 5 2007, 12:40 PM) i dun really have any use for the LCD though, i just wanted the backlight. QUOTE(z3r0717 @ Jun 5 2007, 12:52 PM) actually can... depends where u buy only.. Imagine i bought my G15 for RM279, in lowyat selling G11 for RM279. wow RM279 hmmm, need to go lowyat and check the lastest price on these keyboardsQUOTE(mkyo3 @ Jun 5 2007, 01:07 PM) Put me on the saitek list i been using mine for bout a year but no wear and tear though, just that the keys decide to go bonker, starting typing by itself like got ghost inside. confirm not virus coz tested on other machine as well. so sad coz i really like the keyboard![]() |

Eh?.. rm289 at TSB?... juz check it stated at rm299, rm10 price increased?.. And ohyah, not that big difference in price... but u know lah, wanna know where to get the cheapest ones, and compares with it mah QUOTE(blaxez @ Jun 6 2007, 01:37 AM) To be precise its 99.00 AUD = 282.741 MYR Not worth it, if yer planning to get it there, and bring it back... in terms of warranty. Unless its prices like rm200 or less... heh I gotta say.. Logitech shld have longer warranty on G15, considering its a gamer and expensive price tag comparing to other keyboards. Btw, juz wanna confirm this before i regret gotten the wrong batch... z3r0717: so yers its the "improved batch" on the 2nd pic?.. does it match yer keyboard description?... it seems the LCD frame are gray'ish compared to the first pic. SpikeTwo : so yers its the first pic rite?... does it match yer keyboard description?. ![]() Thx for the replies in advanced Cheers This post has been edited by TomatomanzSeedlezz: Jun 6 2007, 07:59 PM |

Occasionally, you would need to use soap and water to clean your keyboard. Of course you wipe it using damp cloth XD, coz using just plain water and cleaner makes the different.
QUOTE Aikz... EclipseII's keys oso can "wears/fade out"?... damm... sweat.gif My saitek II keys that wears out only WSAD and its hard to clean em too if you are sweaty hands type.Cheers doh.gif Saitek base color is easy to wear out, but I kinda like it since its a proof of 'my' things. |

Actually my keys not really wear out because of extensive use, but forced cleaning. My hands are sweaty so those keys really need frequent cleaning. Just one day I applied a bit more force than usual and the "D" button scratch a bit.
Later when I go back my hostel post pic. |

yes yes yes...we are all on 1st batch!
TomatomanzSeedlezz. As long as it looks rubbery (u can actually touch the keyboard if u are planning to get one from the shop). If anything like that second pic, which u can see, it is like plastic...hard plastic. then it MIGHT be the improved batch. None of us have faded keys yet (i guess). Only some suffers silver painting (around the keyboard) fading. mine has a slight sight of it too. I have been using this keyboard excessively for CSS, quake 4, and any other games for more than 5 months. No fading sympthoms detected, altho there's slight light leak on my F keys and some G keys i believe those are manufacturing defects (minor ones). Maybe those who encountered fading really fast, was those with acidic sweat. But given that logitech covers warranty for paint fading issue, there's not much to worry. Cos as you can see, there's other so called gaming keyboards fade too. Exclude the tarantula as its major keys are not back-lighted, hence, no need for transparent keys. Which leads to 100% no fading (maybe fonts/words fade...hahaha...instead of the keys). regarding the silver paint fading stuff, i wonder if i send it for RMA if it goes too heavy, or i will wrap it with CF stickers...cos it looked damn cool with it. |

i would RMA here at my place locally. Cos i bought it here (kuching, sarawak). haha...i wonder if they need to send confirmation to KL.
i think i would RMA it if sitll within warranty...then if it goes of out of warranty, then i will wrap it with CF stickers. hehe...there's a guide how to take ur G15 apart in G15forums.com |
