i still never faced stuck key
but the silver painting on the frame of the keyboard is fading
which is...i have to agree with you

some how why we both have problems with copperhead and G15 lol doh.gif  doh.gif

*p/s my mouse cums again
*
silver painting? those will come off? i seldom touch the silver paintings. LOL...yeah, both of us got problems. hmm...damn, their QC sure sucks.
my G15 WASD keys are quite loose. hahaha...too much FPS. maybe you could try to wrap the silver thingy with carbon fibre stickers. It looks good from what i see in G15mods.

On key stuck:
http://forums.logitech.com/logitech/board/...e.id=1609#M1609

on the key painting issues, i think the later batches which has the hard coated plastic around the keyboard (old versions have the rubberish feel around the frame, the palm rest, and the back of LCD) including the palm rest, all smooth hard plastics has no paint fading issue on the keys, so i heard. mine is rubberish and sexy...sob sob*...

I may be looking to a keyboard in the future,so wanna ask some stuff.

What do u ppl think bout keyboards like Turantula and G15 which are like RM300? What makes one buy a keyboard with a hefty price? What are the additional benefits as opposed to keyboards priced around, say, the RM100 range

Don't know too much bout keyboards,so I hope this is not a stupid question tongue.gif

last time i used to have stuck keys even on newly bought Rm35 logitech easy deluxe or something. now it seems the G15 sometimes also gives me this. hmmm...i wonder if it is software related.

stuck keys are like eg. you move WASD in FPS games, while u stopped pressing strafing to right (D key), you charater still walks to the right as if the D key was still pressed.

Ah cool, the keys stay depressed although u let it go.You know, this might be input problem, since the keyboard is advanced.

Mice such as Copperhead/Death Adder have a similar problem (u continue shooting despite letting go of the left click) in certain games, such as Quake 3.[url=http://www.razersupport.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=1[/url]Here's the link to the explanation and solution. I know it's probably different for the keyboard tongue.gif

yes the silver paintings do fade. I rarely touch them too, but sometimes when i type, my hand will lie on the edge of the wrist rest so there is a part of it fading.
Mine is rubberish too i guess.
I am not having key fading, but the silver painting fading really annoyed me.
but then have to taking apart whole keyboard is somehow very troublesome

Elli, well basically depends on wat games u play too. Like i play RTS rite, i go for a keyboard with macros. Like mine ( add me to the list too) uses Razer Tarantula. Compact till its small and makes your hand in a condition where it is easier to reach the keys. You can even change keys which makes me easier to micro like puttin my alt button as ctl and my P key as a macro beside it. Super cool. sensitive too and anti ghost( 1o keys simultenously). Thats my review. Chillz

Well LED is basically for night gaming. Tats sure but keyboard is based on what types of game you play man. You have to see which is more comfortable and what type of keyboard it is. Like my tarantula, is meant for me to play RTS as it is small by key size...K

tarantula macros easy to reach? you must be kidding...or you are playing your games with both the hands on the keyboard, instead of one on the mouse. the tarantula has 2 sides of macros consisting 5 keys per side. the right side one, you left hand need to travel whole keyboard distance to reach the other 5 macros on the right. and it doesn't sounds easy to me, while playing games with one hand on keyboard, another on the mouse.

the fact is, the G15 has 18 macro keys times 3 profiles. meaning it gives you 54 macros combo on the left of your keyboard. and that is much much easier to reach. whistling.gif

My summary after considering the 3 (before i get my G15):
- Saitek Eclipse II for the price (cheaper among the 3) and lights color changing (you need that?). Plain good ol' keyboard with lightnings.

- G15 for the functions and LCD and whachamacallit...bang for the buck. the cons: HUGE!

- Tarantula for the Razer gimmicks and more gimmicks. hyper response not required on keyboard plus the antighosting, some tests show that it only supports 8 keys. good design (apart from macro on the right), but not value for money.

I just got myself a Tarantula for DIRT cheap prices due to some reasons..Almost half of the retails price.. Which I will felt regret and sorry for myself if I don't buy it lol.

Haven't even opened the box yet, wait till I move to my apartment on this Sunday, I shall uncover the awesomeness of Tarantula, or, the sarkness of it =_=

Correct 5 left, 5 right But you still can be using the left half of your keyboard rite? So my 5 keys are for those 5 which my hands are unable to reach after my max capacity. Like my macro L5 is P for my war3 human peasant....L4 as O to learn skil for hero....And value for money....hmmm....its an ok ok keyboard. But for me its not a problem...as G15 is not my type.. icon_rolleyes.gif

Yea same here.I seriously dislike how the g15 looks, and on the other hand think Tarantula looks waaay sleek. I know Saitek has lights but I prefer sleek over bling laugh.gif

But Turantula just has too many features which you won't use or wonder if it's actually useful.Like BattleDock which so far seems like utter nonsense sweat.gif
