HOw is the performance under protected games like npROtect and Hackshield , I mean in term of macro keys, shortcut keys? Some protector block keyboard input unless from the keyboard itself. Hey, maybe even macro keys? Can u guys test it out?
Hackshield Games = Knight Online, nProtect = alot, cabal? i dunno.

QUOTE(Everdying @ Dec 12 2006, 01:18 PM) those protected games not sure. but i know for punkbuster protected games etc, it detects macros. So it totally defeats the purpose of buying these gaming keyboard if I can't use the macro feature,a big feature for such expensive keyboard. If i want just the durability perhaps i can buy a cheaper model. The main attraction of gaming keyboard like G15 and Tarantula is the macro, well..for me at least.

Well I havent used any Saitek or the G15 to compare but for me it has smooth operation n the FPS keypad is great for playing F.E.A.R. Combat. If u looked in last week's Tech&U on tuesday u're see it.

Using my Logitech NEw Touch Keyboard. Can't go wrong. A replacement is always cheap for this keyboard.
Never fails, unlike your Saitek's, A4's and other high class brands.

Never fails, unlike your Saitek's, A4's and other high class brands. just be aware that there are two types of newtouch. the old one is the most preferred by the fps crowd. the new one you can actually hear the springs under the keys, lack of feel etc etc.
