Without G&G you may have break ins. With G&G sure you will have break ins. And it is every month, cost of damage have to depend on area. so you mean we better stay in non-G&G housing, right? |

The residents there all know on this. Just only have 1 only dare to make it big till come out in newspaper. Then this fellow got warned and shall keep his mouth shut. |

G&G = for sure break in will happen
Non G&G = break in may happen What sort of logic is this? LOL. Anything can happen anywhere but G&G has lesser chance. Tired to hear such non-logical explanation. Anti stupid explanation. |

QUOTE(AMINT @ Feb 17 2014, 04:54 PM) G&G = for sure break in will happen G&G must have good RA (Resident's Association) which have been registered with the local council. Self start-up sure to fail. Since I have started 2 RAs in my properties and have them fully registered, the guards are hired by our RA and vetted before we sign the agreement. The selection of guards are important and if the companies cannot deliver, we terminate them. Non G&G = break in may happen What sort of logic is this? LOL. Anything can happen anywhere but G&G has lesser chance. Tired to hear such non-logical explanation. Anti stupid explanation. The RAs need to be working and not by name only so that they will pay the guards on time and check on the performance of the guards from time to time. My area in Puchong have not had a break in since we moved in 5 years ago and we have built higher retaining walls and added the height of our fences to prevent isolated cases. We are also fully surveillanced by cctv with night vision and remote cameras with movement detection all paid by the RA and contribution by local council (10K). The problem is when you have a G&G occupied by rich fatcats,, they are lazy to pay unless you shame them like restricting access or putting up their names on public notice boards, the RA will end up hiring sub standard guards which do the home breaking themselves. All residents need to cooperate by paying the monthly fees and I know some places which are supposedly high end, the cheapskate dato's do not pay but talk big. Hence the houses get targeted by burglars that work in tandem with the guards. If TS is willing, I recommend properties by YTL which have excellent guard facilities but an RA needs to be elected once YTL's contract has lapsed. |

Even tightly guarded area can be robbed............
"Although it was a gated residential area tightly guarded and only accessible to residents holding a special security card, the robbers managed to slip in from a golf course behind the victim's house after climbing over a low fence." http://www.thesundaily.my/news/960754 |

Setia Eco Park & Saujana O-Lot (post-Eco World acquisition) also pretty impressive. They actually take picture of all visitors who enter the compound. All round electric fence is another plus point.sierramas also not too bad after initial hiccup. |
