If he doesn't start against Liverpool, then I can see he will leave this summer.

Where were arsenal for the past 8 years? I thought only pools fan love history, arsenal join the bandwagon kah?
*
No. but still, you have to know about your club history (unless your club didn't have any history, of course)

And to answer your question, for the past 8 years:
- we've built a new shiny state-of-art stadium, using our hard-earned money (mind you, sponsorship money isn't the same as sugar-daddy money)
- and it was expected that we can't compete for trophies, as we have a very restricted financial sources (we were forced to sell so many our best players in the process). But we still manage to finish in the top 4 each season.
- all the sponsorship that helped in the Emirates project has come to an end. We now have more-lucrative sponsorship with Emirates and Puma.
- the stadium debt is very well-covered now. (not yet fully paid)
- the stadium now generates ~100m per season.
- we are far more stable in financial now. It is now our time to compete again.

Mind the word 'solely' in my previous posts.

Tbf, I'm not surprised you didn't care, as you've been pampered by the oil money as this while.
Why don't you go ask Leeds United's fans, or Portsmouth's. They'll give you a definite answer.

Btw, there's no point I try to make you understand, you'll never get it. icon_idea.gif
