An Android box is basically an android tablet with a full HDMI out, Ethernet in, USB ports, etc.. With Samsung devices, you get TouchWiz UI, rather than stock or the box manufacturer's home screen/page and UI. Oh yeah, with a tablet you don't have to deal with certain apps that are designed not to run properly on boxes.. Example of some are the ones which don't want subscribers viewing their content on the large screen.
OR... You type in the box's model or brand in the search bar below and see real world usage reviews & thoughts already typed. No? OR You head over to YouTube, search for an unboxing review or comparison video of the model(s). Why?
I believe this thread is for sharing info, having certain needs met and not ranking who's box is the fastest, etc.. Here's an example, I have 3 Kodi variants installed on my box; one is left as stock (Minix_few MB), the other I use to test builds/play around (Jarvis_sometimes over 2GB), while the last one is considered as a stable installation, having about 10 core addons (Official Jarvis_under 1GB). Pray tell, which do you think would launch or quit the fastest? Which has the higher potential to crash or be buggy? Does that then speak for the box? So I believe even after answering the above questions (you've painstakingly thought of... much effort

) per box, it still doesn't really answer what the typical newbie is interested in.. Seasoned Android box users pretty much know what they want and how to go about getting it..
Note: The above is just my opinion, others can feel free to take on the survey..

noob question here, anything wrong with the stock Minix's kodi? y do you need another Kodi? Stock Kodi have limitation?
