S905x 2G is close to 40usd and above. I think better wait for a better deal. |

QUOTE(GuyM @ Oct 4 2016, 05:29 PM) My experience with Beelink GT1 So far my experience:Kodi crashed, eventually i had to redo everything after factory reset then i think it was ok, maybe new owner could advice The dark brightness, didnt liked it, thought its norm until others complaint the same When Kodi crashed, there was this Live*** something that keeps on appearing, had to do factory reset then i think it sort of resolved this Wifi connection drops terribly, the same can be said for Mini M8S II, horrible! Remote though flimsy, needs to be operated from a short distance, didnt liked that Couldn't read USB, have to format it seems, crab! For S912 chip, it wasn't as fast as 905X on Sunvell T95M with same setup My experience with Mini M8S ii & Sunvell T95X Both Wifi connection drops terribly, the same can be said for Beelink GT1, horrible! Think both this model came from same supplier as the box were the same design 1. Green flicker : still happening, but still can tahan knowing Beelink is working for the fix. Hopefully won't take long 2. Dark brightness: Somehow i managed to reduce the effect by playing with TV setting. But now a bit more annoying to me is that chrome, youtube and other apps are a lot brighter but KODI seems be a bit darker. 3. Wifi: I use mostly ethernet so haven't noticed wifi drop. 4. USB as storage: My storage is attached to the network so I haven't tested this yet. 5. USB Lenovo N5902 keyboard: works perfectly. Able to wake device from suspend. The optical track is godsent. 6. Original Remote: keypad to move around is good. But to use is pointing device is nightmare. So all in all, give me the flicker green and dark brightness fix, and the device is perfect. |

QUOTE(futra @ Oct 20 2016, 03:30 PM) Nice.. 1080p hevc 10bit supported? Have u tested bro.. My pc struggle to play 10bit hevc file, normal hevc canĀ Pc will always struggle more unless it's the new kaby Lake processor because it's based on software decoding. Whereas most TV box support hardware decoding for hevc.By the way, gear best is having promo Mini M8S II 4K Smart TV Box Amlogic S905X 2gb+16gb version for $38.99. Worth it? QUOTE(VeeJay @ Oct 20 2016, 10:07 PM) Why arent you looking at Himedia? Is it due to pricing? Yeap, mostly pricing. Looking for another one for office. ELse, look at OEM box such as Octa Core TVBox http://www.lelong.com.my/z4-tv-box-android...7-01-Sale-I.htm Z4 is rm337 with additional 5ghz wifi. M8 S 2 is rm160 with only 2ghz. |

and astro is spending a lot to create exclusive content, especially Malay dramas. They invest in that so it's harder for people to cut astro's service.
