I am into the hunt of a Android tv box.  Device with S912 cpu is always better than the S905 cpu correct ?

I am looking at :
1.  MXIII - G II Box  RM 286 at lazada
2.  Alfawise S92  RM292 at lazada
3.  COOLEME MB2    RM 258 at lazada

which one is better ?

All appears oem by Netxeon...2&3 has same board ID & looks like same board as gt1... 1 looks better built... These are popular in freaktab...

Those famous brands will have good support for firmware or if anything screwed up, you will have solutions. Like Minix, Himedia.

For me, I bought my own box before coming to this thread. It's not a famous box but it's working well for me. The seller seems reputable, after some credit card rebate, I got it around RM 200. It was just shared few pages earlier. Docooler brand. I'm quite happy with it but not sure for others.

You are a senior member and should know how to isolate/show only posts from a particular user (Very helpful forum feature).. Do that to either mine or Frutie's..

Android box is a pretty easy thing to setup if you are an Android user. I mean, even girls like me can do it, you guys can too. Just buy a box which you like and good to go.

MiBox is very popular in China but i don't want to crack my head to think so much, I chose an easier path. Maybe if you are adventurous, you can try.

If Himedia outta your budget, the same goes to Minix, dNT talk abt Shield.

Within your budget, lookup for Sunvell T95M, T95Z, T95U or Beelink GT1,  MXiii ii or Nexbox A95X

it has the hardware ability to play with out lagging.

u still hv to hv the appropriate apps / decoder. (softwares)

Aiyo...give la details....what you  know, how you are going to use it, are you well verse with kodi or willing to maintain it..or need external support, and what actually you dont know....so that we can give details..

if its just gimme suggestion for a best  rm200++ box, there are tons out there and "best" is relative

its like any car or tv, everyone has their own likes and requirement, there is no "best"

Decent brand like Minix & Himedia are well built and also have good support like firmware upgrade. Of course they're a bit pricey. But not necessarily means it can play more files. I would say they'll cause less trouble compare to others.

If you want some adventures, buy a relatively expensive unbranded one like the one I bought recently, Alfawise H96 Pro+. I would say it's a good box, causing me no trouble so far after almost 3 months. Of course time will tell if it'll live up to my expection like my existing three year old Minix, which I let it switched on 24/7.
