QUOTE(one punch man @ Nov 7 2016, 08:33 PM) i have 2 units bought from lazada....for rm120 each really worth the money, play and stream kodi flawlessly, also ran youtube fine too. Great.save your money and just get this box i had minix 8h+ box before until it suddenly short circuited, last time bought 400, now i checked price is more than 500... the mxqpro can do the same as the more exp minix box, although the mxq might be a bit slow and no ota update but no issue with that I have an old and reliable himedia q3ii that is still working fine. Oh, I mainly use as player from HDD though. Kodi is something that I would like to try out MXQ Pro looks much cheaper and has more USB ports as well as better chipset that can play the more recent h265 encoding... Really tempted now, especially at that price This post has been edited by OPT: Nov 8 2016, 01:54 AM |

QUOTE(matow @ Nov 8 2016, 12:43 PM) I have bought one unit of this MXQ PRO S905 4K 8GB Quad Core Android 5.1 with 1GB Ram and only using it for Kodi and some stand alone apks like HKTV, Mobdro, Popcorn Time. For some reason, Showtime doesn't work, maybe I have to delete and re-install it. It also have Miracast which I successfully connected it with my Samsung Note 4. So far, it is working smoothly for me. The seller installed quite a lot of kodi addons but most of them are not working. I deleted most of them and put in new addons without any problems. Oh! buy a wireless mouse to use as it will be easier. Lazada selling one (wireless mouse) which is only RM15.00 only, I'm using that too. New link review whenever you are ready 👍I have not played any games on this so I do not know how it fares with games. If you spend a little more, you might consider getting a better one which is the Beelink mini MXIII-II with 2GB Ram and 16GB Rom. Redskull recommends this quite highly. See his review here :- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hd1GI64KYvs. I have bought one from Gearbest for my niece and just received it. Will be setting up the set for her when I'm free. I'm not an expert on Android Box but just sharing as I am using the box also. I hope it helps you. |

Hello,
Anyone can suggest to me a TV box (not necessary android) that is small and compact (something like those mi box mini) but most importantly have USB input & HDMI output (or better yet straight hdmi connect)? The idea is its small and convenient enough to bring for travel and no messy long power cable. USB is used for connecting HDD/Pendrive for media I saw one or two online but not sold in Msia Tq This post has been edited by OPT: Nov 19 2016, 05:10 PM |

I have Himedia.Mi box and most of the media boxes are Android based anyways. cheers Looking for alternative which is small and compact mainly for travel use...something like Sunvell T95P that was shared in earlier thread This post has been edited by OPT: Nov 19 2016, 05:59 PM |
