First you need to find out if the manufacturer provides firmware updates. Cuz many boxes out there are not supported after sales.. Is there an update app or feature built into the firmware?

I see... One of two things then...
*Visit the manufacturer's website and or google for a possible firmware update matching (exactly) the model. Manually flash over the current firmware... or.
*Continue usage as is.

Somehow people suggested 5.1 instead of 6.0, seems some apps can't work well with 6.0. My recent purchase was a 5.1 box though.

The dolamee D6 is a new Android TV box powered by the quadcore Amlogic S905X that boasts an LED display and an interesting design.

Make sure it's the white box but I saw some guys responded in the dedicated thread that the recent update removes Google Play. I haven't checked out mine if it's affected for me because supposedly I have removed the auto update.
Anyway back to this box, it's a very basic box with limited storage. I only use it for Astro On-The Go, Kodi and some free IPTVs. Sufficient for these usages.

Err... Not worth at all. I got free from UniFi, actually my friend but since she is not using it, so she gave to me.
My HyppTV box is still the older generation.
RM 350 there is far better box out there. My own box is around RM 200.

"Unlocked"?..  What was unlocked? It wasn't locked in the first place. All she had to do was connect to WiFi..
