I would have continued using it except, I've had times when it pops up during Quasar playback, to tell me my space has decreased by a certain amount (no s**t Sherlock) and that notification crashes the Quasar addon, forcing me to buffer all over again (addon set not to save files). Couldn't find a way to disable that particular notification and it happened frequently enough, forcing its uninstall.

until u have try out file commander, u will be amazed how clean and easy the file sharing on box using its "pc file transfer" function. turn on the service and you can access your box contents via browser on your mobile or pc.

Hmm, perhaps they issued an update to that effect or it was not available on the free version, cuz at the time of uninstalling, I don't recollect ever seeing such an option.
Err.. What talk you? I had a 1GB RAM box once and used properly, no "lag"... This isn't Windows on a PC we are talking about. I will let you know that some boxes with 2GB RAM can play certain media files (smoothly) that would crash or freeze on even most PCs with 4GB RAM and above.

Yes there's few 4gb...don't see the point for now...just bragging rights I suppose...

There have been a few... For today's purposes, its generally overkill especially with the way the Android OS and media boxes are designed to run. IMO, other priorities such as extensive firmware support and good hardware+software combo rank way higher.

P.S. Until we have proper use for it, 4GB RAM makes more sense on a Tablet or Smartphone than on an Android media box.

ES is quite small and does more if I recall...just don't like how they set up the ads...

You can try total commander (file manager) & via (browser) if you like minimalist
