Since Liv defence is not tight enough, a lot of time when BR get the tactically wrong, Liv already conceded 0-1 or 0-2, typically happen against Villa match.

Don't be carry away with 5-1 win against Arsenal, although it was a magnificent performance and a good win.
The current team still lack of consistency and some defensive issue.
Cemented 4th place, leaving gap between 5th is the ultimate goal right now, or may be third.
(to ensure CL football next year, as 4th place still need to play qualifying match for CL group which can be a banana skin as well, if unfavourable draw for qualify round, Everton experienced it before)
(also 4th place won't be to qualify into CL if MU that finished the league outside 4th, but win CL)

My main concern currently is still our squad depth. It still has some injury concerns especially in defence. And there are no quality (not enough, anyway) players off the bench to replace Suarez or Sturridge should it be necessary. We've been blessed by superb form from the both of them. I hope both don't suffer any injuries or burnout from now on. Since Suarez's return from suspension, I can't remember which game he hasn't started apart from the League Cup match against United. But he's still pressing defenders from the front like a rabbit on steroids. May it continue.

Yes, especially away matches, whereby this is Mancity weakness, if not they are the runaway leader already.

Check the statement I made, if JM wants 1-0, he can get it. , doesn't mean guarantee, but a lot of time, it happened.
No matter how, you need to salute JM tactically superiority in a lot of matches.
I already very optimistic that prefer to see Liv to challenge 3rd and leaving gap behind 5th.   

It is not about optimism or not, it is about reality check.
As said before, there still issues around before realistic can see Liv is up to the top and challenge for the title.

See how fast slip up from the table from the top before Christmas, just because a few matches hiccup, can drop to 5th.

Yes, good to see win in such a magnificent style but it doesn't mean we carry away that expect Liv to challenge the title just because of it.

Why said reality check is not title contender?
1. Lack of consistency, aka you want to be title contender, you need ability to string a row of win together, aka like win at least 8 matches out of 9/10 matches, which at time the team blow hot and cold. Especially in away matches, stat is quite poor for even 4th place finish. 4 win on the road out of 12 matches played, this is not a title contender stat. Home form, yes, it is.

2. Keep the defence tight, not conceding, it means you have chance to win 1-0, scrap those win ugly, as it is impossible to win every match 3-0, 5-1.

3. Tactically superiority, against top team, there is little difference between personnel sometimes, but a better superiority in tactical, win the match for you.

Until above 3 issues being sorted out, 3rd spot is already a big achievement for the end of season. It is not about not pessimistic but about reality check, it doesn't mean I expect doom and gloom on the prospect ahead.

I was being labelled negative as well when saying Liv was not title contender despite sitting on top.
But other said, reality was Liv was on top of table, title credential.

2 Fulham players that worry me, Holtby and Richardson. Richardson is fast. if they play counter attack, out fullback need to track back quick. or better if our midfield can deal with him

Dude he was fast. Even i didn't think he was that fast. Remember that play when Countiho weaved through 2-3 Arsenal players before setting up a beautiful weighted pass to Hendo ? He started his run from our half and outpaced Gibbs. Just couldn't finish it.
