A point may not be enough to keep Southampton in the Championship regardless of the outcome of the Football League's independent inquiry, but if Mark Wotte's men do pull off what is looking like an unlikely escape they may have a lot to thank Jan-Paul Saeijs for.

Saints won CP 1 - 0 the other day. Enough to save?

David McGoldrick's superb solo strike kept alive Southampton's hopes of staging a relegation Great Escape and retaining their Championship status.

I no big fan of Soton actually, but I've always used them in FIFA and FIFA manager games Jst like fallen giants Leeds, I believe they belong up there in the premiership. One thing I like bout Soton is that new talents always seem to emerge from their academy!

Argghhh,

It's sad to see the Saints falling behind.
I'm not really a fan of the team but I'd like seeing them play.
I remember the days with James Beatie and Kevin Philips, like those plays.

My dad is a fan though ahahhah!
