Redline MTL mini review after 540km.
Initially planned to pour in MT85 but kedai tarak stock, so gua pour in mtl. Overall just slightly smoother gear shifting compared to stock. It does not eliminate my issue such as notchy shifting from 1st -2nd. However it does help smoothed out abit.
ON MTL I get extra "feedback" which I don't really like. On stock, shifting feels dead/numb/dampened while on MTL I macam can feel gear inside the tranny. Well that my personal preference la.
Btw after 32k mileage, stock gb oil looks like kopi peng kau and stinks

i see so this could confirm that lubegard manual does help a ton in smoothing out the gear shifting as compared to stock and possibly using only redline MTL/MT85/90.
although yes, does not eliminate the notchy 1st/2nd gear shifting however 2nd gear almost fully eliminated while 1st gear is a LOT smoother.
in fact, i'm a LOT more comfortable downshifting 3 > 2 in high speeds compared to before (well a part of that is also thanks to
nzh0920 tips/advises

)
i didn't really gotten any extra "feedback" though, maybe cuz the additive helped smoothen out things further? in fact i kinda want more feedback for a more solid feel which as my budget allows i'll be getting the short shifter with solid aluminum bushings

i assume this is your first time changing gear oil on the inspira? i've been advised if i got the budget, changing more frequently on the first 20-50k km is good if i got the budget due to the metal shavings.
then again i prefer to just change it slightly earlier with use of additives (eg: lubegard)
and yeah from the gb oil drained out, can see a lot of sediments on the drained out oil container.
at only 1.7k km, my gb oil is around teh o color, quite clear, however yes it stinks, touching it have very rough feeling of sediments within the oil (eg: sandy feeling) and you can visibly seeing sediments sinking/building at the bottom of the oil container.
so i guess my decision to change the gb oil was a good one despite being just less than 1.7k km.
