hi..do u guys noticed the speedometer showing incorrect speed if compared to gps speed?. is it normal? like speed 120 kmh, gps showing 115kmh, speed 130 kmh, gps 123 kmh..could it be wrong tire size? i'm using stock 215/50/r17 tire
*
normal, the speedo by default has +5-6% additional compared to GPS speed.

I dont think gps show the real speed. When I reach around 120km/h AES tembak n report 121km/h. So sapa betul? tongue.gif  tongue.gif

My garmin nuvi 1250 always report 104-105km/h when i'm crusing at 110km/h.
*
and that's why the speedo have 5-6% tolerance lo...so people don't sue mitsubishi (or proton) for getting speed ticket on speedo error.

guys, this may be a bit funny/unheard of, considering our cheapjing car...

but does our front wheel have slight positive camber when doing lock-to-lock turns and thus able to achieve the best in class 5meter turning radius?
i kinda noticed that the wheels seems to be in positive camber state when i turn my steering to the max (noticed when taking brake picture for nicotine )

i did remembered high end contis like the MB/BMW doing that, then again, impossible our cheapjing car have such systems, right? sweat.gif

Redline MTL mini review after 540km.
Initially planned to pour in MT85 but kedai tarak stock, so gua pour in mtl. Overall just slightly smoother gear shifting compared to stock. It does not eliminate my issue such as notchy shifting from 1st -2nd. However it does help smoothed out abit.

ON MTL I get extra "feedback" which I don't really like. On stock, shifting feels dead/numb/dampened while on MTL I macam can feel gear inside the tranny. Well that my personal preference la.

Btw after 32k mileage, stock gb oil looks like kopi peng kau and stinks laugh.gif
*
i see so this could confirm that lubegard manual does help a ton in smoothing out the gear shifting as compared to stock and possibly using only redline MTL/MT85/90.
although yes, does not eliminate the notchy 1st/2nd gear shifting however 2nd gear almost fully eliminated while 1st gear is a LOT smoother.
in fact, i'm a LOT more comfortable downshifting 3 > 2 in high speeds compared to before (well a part of that is also thanks to nzh0920 tips/advises thumbup.gif )

i didn't really gotten any extra "feedback" though, maybe cuz the additive helped smoothen out things further? in fact i kinda want more feedback for a more solid feel which as my budget allows i'll be getting the short shifter with solid aluminum bushings laugh.gif

i assume this is your first time changing gear oil on the inspira? i've been advised if i got the budget, changing more frequently on the first 20-50k km is good if i got the budget due to the metal shavings.
then again i prefer to just change it slightly earlier with use of additives (eg: lubegard)

and yeah from the gb oil drained out, can see a lot of sediments on the drained out oil container.
at only 1.7k km, my gb oil is around teh o color, quite clear, however yes it stinks, touching it have very rough feeling of sediments within the oil (eg: sandy feeling) and you can visibly seeing sediments sinking/building at the bottom of the oil container.

so i guess my decision to change the gb oil was a good one despite being just less than 1.7k km.

Do you mean caster angle? All cars have slight positive angle. Perhaps our lala got slightly more but cannot compare to merc... full turn u see tires like kankang open... tongue.gif

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caster_angle

Quazacolt... more info on Passing Lane/Overtaking Lane... cut n paste this link in those forums you come across where ppl (slowpokes) complain kena cucuk by supposing faster moving cars with intend to pass/overtake them. It is also against the law to hog this lane but being msians...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Passing_lane
*
no i meant camber angle as from plain view it does seem that the wheels are cambered (although from alignment machine i'm certain that is not the case) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camber_angle
yeah as you said VERY similar to merc, especially at parking lots you see them doing full turns the tires look like want to fall off laugh.gif

somehow from previous alignment trip caster angle were not measured, next time ill poke the guy to check lolz!

and yeah much thanks on the link, i'll definitely do that (remember a while back then on LYN there were 2-3 threads debating on overtaking lanes and road hoggers abiding speed limit on the overtaking lanes and being holier than thou etc)

just curious, you suddenly brought it up cuz of the CRZ thread? tongue.gif
