asc instalation is a lot of work lol http://twitpic.com/dvln32
Bosch esp hehe. The abs module is also by Bosch, made in Philippines. http://twitpic.com/dvo2cb Actually get to experience legit asc scenario : speeding, then traffic slowdown ahead while cornering. Im already on fast lane and I'm cornering at about 130km/h at the Jalan istana highway towards mahameru (near Kl Sentral). if I don't brake, I crash to the car in front mine. I brake, would mean lift off oversteer and my ass will most likely hit the road divider. So naturally I don't want to trouble other people, I chosen the latter. And magic happens: as my rear was sliding out, abs braking (can hear the loud noise and vibration) happened on my right front wheel and the car straightened. Of course I'm greeted with the asc activated icon full sized on the meter display XD i got the ASC lightened up 4-5 times, very exciting moments and few seemingly near crashes thanks again nzh0920 and K3nnYkl82 |

QUOTE(evolution120 @ Feb 16 2014, 02:07 AM) ady tested and proven QUOTE(edison1437 @ Feb 16 2014, 08:57 AM) lots of wiring need to route... btw nzh0920 K3nnYkl82 when free need to kacau you guys again to remove the meter... looks like the stuffing or padding for the meter lighting button wasn't stuffed back in properly not a big deal, just when ocd kick in annoying to see black sponge/stuffing sticking out of it lol, resisting to pull it out QUOTE(K3nnYkl82 @ Feb 16 2014, 10:31 AM) SAS @ steering angular sensor require signal input into the main canbus line @ some sort of information network our car.. ah this explains everything, thanks! It is devided into 3 lines.. Main.. 2ndary and diagnose.. The main one contains all critical and immediate info such as engine ecu signal.. Abs .. Asc.. Sas.. Headlight leveling .. Afs .. Etc.. 2ndary one is like radio (mmcs) .. Speedometer.. Srs airbags.. (required speed to operate is lower) Previously when install on older car (still got extra wiring) .. I tap into the network via the headlight leveling wirings located juz above the acelerator .. And the asc off switch require lights when u drive at night which is actually control by the speedometer.. In older car, there is a headlight leveling switch port, i get light power from there which is from the speedometer.. As for new car,, neither manual leveling port or auto leveling port exist d.. So to get the switch to lightup have to get the illumination power from the speedo port (not simply any power source as u can Dim the light control by the speedo).. And for the SAS to join the canbus network.. It have to be pull accross till underneath the passanger airbag part to join with the properr can bus signal line.. Whereelse previously there is a ready can bus port for the auto levelimg This post has been edited by Quazacolt: Feb 16 2014, 06:55 PM |

Proton Inspira baseline dyno on iinm 50 ramp rate; full stock except for the KNN drop in air filter. http://twitpic.com/dvq2kh
notice the curve on the post 4k rpm was a really good experience considering that place was famous for it's depressing ramp rates and end results especially when compared to other dyno places. I was expecting something on the low 9x or at most 10x, who'd knew it'd push 111 which is just barely under the exact double of my iswara on wheel dyno at the same place as well The owner Alan was surprised on the torque on the lower gears at it was showing figures over 200... had his staff to recheck the car restraints twice before they proceed on the dyno... was worried if there was anything wrong with the car. he even showed the staff on the rpm meter that climbed unusually fast as well lol... they only went "oh" when i told them i am using xw20 engine oil as i had to leave early (it was supposed to be a bulk dyno so payments should be in bulk lol) and proceeded to paying, mentioned on the asc installation, which followed with some explanation, he told me to drive slower ROFL! (since during the explanation i mentioned a LOT of sliding and 2nd gear wheel spins lol) and the most mind blowing part, was after that he asked me if i want to bolt on turbo i did told him that for now the primary concern would be the handling. there's more than enough power than i as a driver can handle |
