I'm thinking of adding LiquiMoly ceratec to my engine after next service.

Should i ask the SC guy to put in less engine oil (minus 300ml?)
*
I am using that too.
Ask the SC to pour in it first and slowly top up and see how. smile.gif

Oooo.... so keng ar....

My old nissan... before and after install braided... didnt feel shit... damn I must have got some lousy braided hose... haiz...  doh.gif

I thought it only helps during HEAVY braking (meaning repeated hard braking for a length of time, not a single slam brake at traffic light)..... or when your current hose is so ridiculously old that its spongy alrdy.

Mobile1 claim can use 100kkm, do you dare not to change?
Any oil can last(my friend's car never change engine oil even clocked 100kkm and using mineral oil only), but the main question is : does the filter can last till then?

Just change the filter I think is good, as long as the oil appearance still good.
Anyway, meet the adjuster yesterday and the claim of rm20k should be passed already.

only bring/use 4 liter EO, and hope they drain your previous oil a little longer.

i brought 4liter ams oil, ceratec and ws2 and now the EO is slightly overfilled... thinking maybe the xw20 will get itself leaked/burnt off eventually to slowly even out... after almost 3k km and a lot of red lining... it's still overfilled doh.gif
*
Mine was filled with 4L Petronas Syntium1k, and just a little of syntium 800. (coz the 1L bottle is compulsory buy from Free service) (Total: 4.25L)
The Oil shows overfilled with the dipstick.
After about 8000km of high revving and aggressive driving, the level on dipstick is still high.
No EO loss.

K3nny said before, 4L is ngam ngam hoe.

wow i'm surprised you experienced more brake dust than the stock akebono, perhaps because you got more braking confidence and thus brake harder and resulting in more dust?

regardless, from your experience which brake dust/dirt from stock akebono/ebc green were easier to clean/wash off?
*
Dunno, bcoz I no clean/wash car like u mah... notworthy.gif

QUOTE(gbsaint @ Mar 13 2014, 12:39 PM)
I see.Is there like a lot of brake dust,or only slightly more than stock??

Nope, it won't, as filter part is not the place storing the engine oil when not running, it will still "leak" out some, but not that much.
