Hey Guys!!

Seems like theres a problem with my car radio..
When i turn on my Headlights, the radio reception goes bad.
When i turn off my headlights, the radio gets better.

For USB songs, when i turn on my headlights, my radio cant detect the usb, But when i turn off my headlights, the car can detect the usb.

My guess is that the battery is bad now.
Already 2.2 year old car.
What do you guys think?

I found that my car doesnt have enough voltage to supply both my HID lights and my FlyAudio radio at the same time.
Tried with a bigger battery, but results were the same.

I guess somewhere in my car, the voltage distributed to the lights and radio is not enough..
=(

points that caused such doubts:
- greens are cheaper than akebono (if price were to determine braking quality, the greens are in a lot of doubts lol)

I went to the service center in PJ, near Jaya One. They told me that the replacement brake pads are not Akebono. they are bosch or whatever. =(

There are many compatible one, and Bosch are much cheaper than Akebono blush.gif
For car audio, you can install farad capacitor for it. Is that your sound system more than 1000w?
*
I think mine shouldnt be high powered. Because it is only the Radio replaced with a DVD/GPS radio.
No changes to Speakers or woofer or anything like that.

Any good reccomendation for Farad Capacitor in Klang valley?

If you don't eve have an amplifier, most likely is grounding issues. Ask SC to change grounding cable first.
*
Hmm.. i'll do that!
Coz sometimes when i exit the car, when my hand touches the door, i get a little static shock.

Will they still repair if my radio is changed (not stock).

Should i ask the SC guy to put in less engine oil (minus 300ml?)

only bring/use 4 liter EO, and hope they drain your previous oil a little longer.

i brought 4liter ams oil, ceratec and ws2 and now the EO is slightly overfilled... thinking maybe the xw20 will get itself leaked/burnt off eventually to slowly even out... after almost 3k km and a lot of red lining... it's still overfilled doh.gif
*
Mine was filled with 4L Petronas Syntium1k, and just a little of syntium 800. (coz the 1L bottle is compulsory buy from Free service) (Total: 4.25L)
The Oil shows overfilled with the dipstick.
After about 8000km of high revving and aggressive driving, the level on dipstick is still high.
No EO loss.

K3nny said before, 4L is ngam ngam hoe.

Just change the filter I think is good, as long as the oil appearance still good.
Anyway, meet the adjuster yesterday and the claim of rm20k should be passed already.
*
i thought that when you remove the filter, the oil will come gushing out. =)

huh u mix fully and semi oil together??  shocking.gif

Yeah, I upgraded the 4L bottle to Fully Synth.
But they didnt have fully synth 1L, and the SC guy said need 4.5L of oil.
So nevermind, just mix. So far no problems. haha

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Mar 13 2014, 09:17 PM)
synthium 1000 is stupid.
xw50 viscosity laugh die me.

Not much choice. SC carries petronas stuff.
