You can burn fat if you have caloric deficit, not surplus. And fat burner only helps to ease the fat burning, not magically makes your body have a 10% caloric deficit.

Sorry but I'm quite confuse here. Let say I'm in the process of gaining mass but at the same time want to lose some fat, I wont lose the fat if I'm having a caloric surplus?

Caloric surplus = mass gain.

Caloric deficit = loss mass.

Gaining mass and losing fat are two different objectives with entirely opposite requirements. You can't do both UNLESS you have a lot of experience of doing both objectives successfully.

Ok, understood about the caloric surplus and caloric deposit. So if I want to lose some belly fat, I need to sacrifice gaining mass? I'm trying to eat as clean as I can at the moment to make sure I consume less dirty fat. But if I can't loss fat when having caloric surplus, I think I need to eat less right?

I repeat again:

If you want to lose weight, you need to have a caloric deficit.

If you want to gain weight, you need to have a caloric surplus.

Both are opposite objectives and obviously you need to choose either one during a certain period of time.

Well belly fat =\= body fat percentages in most cases. You could have a low body fat percentage but have a gut, and vice versa. Usually even on a surplus, when you start getting into the groove of training you'll loose the belly fat. Not saying you'll lose body fat percentage though. It's just that active people normally will have their bellies sort themselves out after theyve been training for a while.

I been training very hard this 2 years but my belly is still there, not quite visible to others but at least for me or someone who stay close to me and say you had belly,is it that I am not eating nutrition enough or I eat too much or not the right food(hate using this, hard to say which is right)

Well honestly anyone who trains pretty hard for a long time and has coped to the food requirements will naturally have a large stomach adapted for processing more food laugh.gif In my case I do too, but another thing that helps is our core and ab muscles that should be a little bit tensed so to speak when we stand or walk or anything in our daily lives. I do stomach vacuums after my workouts to help with this, too. What's left is either body fat from your overall body fat percentages, size of your abdominal muscles or the size of your stomach (organ). But of course all cases vary and your problem could very well be something completely different. laugh.gif I dunno, just my two cents haha. In most cases people think they have a belly but what they have is either one of the three problems listed above and/or they're too self conscious and their bellies aren't really even prominant. Hope this helps biggrin.gif
